After their last assignment (see events in Fire in the Hole Redux), the soldiers aboard the Tanganika underwent several minor assignments as an attonement for the destruction of Space Station Punsola.These assignments came to an end when the Ven-Suri-Ven, an A class frigate cut all communications following an engangement with hostiles in one of the moon stations.The Tanganika was the closest ship with a fresh crew, and as such they were sent to intercept the derelict vessel, and investigate the circumstances of its sudden silence.As the Ven-Suri-Ven was a perfectly operational ship only 2 days ago, and externally it didn't seem damaged, a careful operation was devised for its recovery.Several RATs were inserted to collect as much information as possible.The first reports indicated all main systems were down, and revealed proof of intense fights in the ship, having several areas locked by bulkheads.Hostile presence was confirmed, and the men aboard the Tanganika got ready for a confrontation..
