Here is a collection of shortcuts cfgs to quickly change/jump betwen render distance and increase performance when you need it. Turn fog on and of with short command.
You can quickly switch between near medium and far render distance to increase performance in crowded areas or increase render distance in open fields.
Also turn on and of the volumetric fog without typing the whole command.
Drop the .cfg files into your D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance directory.
How to use:
add con_restricted=0 to your user.cfg
Open in game console with ^ key and enter the command you want to use

Just found out that you can bind the commands to keyboard keys..
enter the following into your user.cfg:
bind np_1 'exec near'
np_1 is num pad 1, you can bind to any key and bind other commands as well
like
bind b 'exec far'
)))))))))
Render distance commands: chose one for when you feel the need
exec near
exec mid
exec far
What it does :
near : shortens the render distance to increase performance in busy areas such as citys and dense woods
mid : is a Middle Ground between near and far, I use this a lot
far: is for open fields when you want see what is in the distance reduce pop in of distant grass and want to look into the lands.
Volumetric Fog Command:
exec fog1
exec fog0
1 turns the volumetric fog on, 0 turns volumetric fog off, most noticeable in the morning or in the evening or when there is wet/ foggy weather.
Sometimes I like the atmosphere so much that I activate the fog despite the performance hit.
But sometimes the fog is barely noticeable but costs like 10fps especially in dense woods, then I turn it off.
