Unfinished MOD v0.55a: Twist Of Trek by SLi-Fox
I've been working on this Mod (My first for Freelancer) for the past 2 months, but have found myself burnt out and with the upcoming release of Star Trek:Online, I feel that my energy should go to something else. This has been posted as unfinished and anyone willing to complete what I've started, please feel free to do so.

I've been working on this Mod (My first for Freelancer) for the past 2 months, but have found myself burnt out and with the upcoming release of Star Trek:Online, I feel that my energy should go to something else. This has been posted as unfinished and anyone willing to complete what I've started, please feel free to do so.
Some material in the mod does belong to other people. For instance the 3D models. There are some authors of those models whom I haven't been able to get a hold of. And some of the models I have forgot where I got them from. (If any of your models are here, I apologize)
Most of the ship models have been converted from StarFleet Command III and a few others from Bridgecommander. I used plugins found on the net for Gmax (to cleanup the SFCIII models) and for MS3d (import cleaned SFCIII .mod files and export .cmp & .mat). I used Photoshop to convert textures to .tga, to tweak (some letters on the textures would appear backwards), and to flip vertically. I used HardCMP to add hardpoints and finally Notepad++ to write the xml script.
My intentions for this Mod was:
version 1.0: to add playable ships from Star Trek with weapons, shields, engines, etc
version 2.0: add stations from Star Trek
version 3.0: convert the rest of the NPC ships in singleplayer to ships from Star Trek
* Defiant and some .3db files from Archedyne
* Galaxy and Nebula from TrekMods.com (website is down?)
* Other models? (I don't know)

Hello SLi-Fox,
I’m just trying to do some balancing on this mod and have edited the ship and weapon costs so they are relative and fit into the freelancer world. However I am having problems editing the stats for the various ships so I can balance them to reflect their Star trek originals. I have adjusted their stats in shiparch file but this has not changed their stats in game.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

I have now figured out how to do all the balancing in costs and stats. I have completed the Federation and will be happy to have a go at the rest. Please let me know if you would like see my changes to consider if they would be helpful to the mod?
