Stalingrad is back with snow! this modded map was ment for the EU Force. However it works in other mods as well(see below). I didnt change any of the strategic type things (placement of cp, vehicles, ect...) but i did replace the Chinese with the MEC, but the MEC has some chinese kits. also replaced chinese vehicles with MEC vehicles. it also has custom snow skins. SP support.

-simply unzip stlaingrad folder to your levels folder(C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Levels) and your set

The original was brilliant. This version has some nice features added such as the snow, change of army (USA has been changed for the EU army)and a few vehicle changes. However, what is missing is my favorite 64 map. The original 64 player map had a channel crossing with the MEC army based across the channel. To get to the mainland they would all have to cross the channel by boat. This meant you could have a great time manning the gun emplacements at the top of the beach to attempt to stop the assault. Unfortunately the 64 player map in the Stalingrad Snow version has been replaced with the 32 player map that puts the original spawn point for the MEC out of bounds, the MEC now are located where the USA used to be and the EU army are the ones assaulting the beach. Instead of spawning across the channel, they spawn on the lower part of the beach. If you are playing the MEC by the time you've got to the gun emplacements at the top of the beach, the EU have already assaulted the beach area and the gun emplacements become useless. This is a great pity as Rodolfo's original was one of my favorite custom maps.
