Does this work with better sights v1.1?

Should be fine, but just in case, make a backup of gamedata before install. Also remember, if "better sights v1.1" scopes has different center/texture, the sight would be off. I adjusted aim crosshair to vanilla scopes.

I didn't alter any of the weapon configs only the textures themselves and I centered the "glowing" dots on the sights not on the weapon. Which is actually how I noticed a lot of them had misaligned sights. I use this along with my Better Sights with 0 issues.

Any chance of further support? More guns need to be unfucked and a patch may be necessary

So far I was updating it for 4 days now. Today I added a Desert Eagle and changed it from 0.01a to 0.01b. It's just a slow process sometimes.

Да, почти все пушки со сбитым прицелом, но это легко исправить, есть только одна проблема: 2D прицелы (PSO1,PSO1M2,1P29) не отображают перекрестия и их очень сложно пофиксить.

Dude you're a saint! This is something that has always bothered me. Now, I just have to get used to stopping aiming a little to the left. :)

Something I just found out about. The game now has a built-in HUD editor. When you have a weapon out you can press F7 if you're in debug and then choose weapon HUD editor or something like that and then fix the scopes in game and save the config files.

Nice! Thank you for the tip!
But can you record the process, I'm in debug menu but there is only: Spawner/Icon_Editor/Object_Specific/Advanced how do you do that?

Don't go into the debug menu. Equip a weapon, then press F7 during "real time gameplay". You'll see the rest right away!

Wow. I totally forgot to follow up with you. I'm sorry about that. Anywhere here's the process: You can use the in-game weapon HUD editor to make this process go 20x faster. Launch the game in debug mode, be sure Toggle Aim is turned on, aim down your sights, press F7 and then 3 and that will bring up the weapon HUD editor. Use the arrow keys to select the value you want to change and then use Numpad2 to decrease the value and Numpad8 to increase it. You can also hold shift while pressing Num2/8 to increase the values by 0.0001 instead of 0.00001 increments. After you're done, save the changes and close the game. There will be a new file in your gamedata/config folder called temp_hud.ltx You can then use the values in that to edit the values in the weapon configs.

I'm getting this error when trying to use the weapon hud editor, any tips?

I'm working on an addon that makes the aiming positions of the weapons feel like games like insurgency, escape from tarkov, etc. this editor would really help me to make it faster.

You will need to find next lines in my ltx files:
aim_hud_offset_pos
aim_hud_offset_rot
aim_hud_offset_pos_16x9
aim_hud_offset_rot_16x9

Copy values to your mod, do it for everything. Different scopes, iron sight's they all require a proper values.

I've found a bug with your addon - it makes every ak74n have about 80 points of damage instead of the usual 50, checked and it went back to normal value after disabling your fix.

Hey man, whenever you get the chance, could you please fix the M1911 and some of the AK-47/74 models? Their sights are horribly misaligned. I know the AK-47 itself along with the regular AKM have issues, and every version of the M1911 as well. Also, the FN FAL could be set back a bit. It looks like you're holding the gun against your face rather than your shoulder.

With soviet weapons there is a problem: most of them has 2D scopes and you can't see a crosshair in zoom scope mode because 2d texture covers it - if you can't see a crosshair you can't make aliment properly. So, it's just better to wait until next update of anomaly. And hope that they will fix this issue.
I will update mod this weekend.

I'm not talking about the AKs with scopes, just the sights themselves. Unless there's some weird graphical trick on the AKs where the ironsights block the crosshair?

How do you edit the sight alignment on these guns, by the way? I might try to do it myself.

Привет, классный мод, но есть одно но. У СВТ 40 в режиме прицеливания через прицел ПУ видно, что текстура крепления к оружиию не такая

Hi there. Help with modding a scope, please: created a new version of the Deltapoint from BaS, even made it's own icon.. shows up in inventory fine, attaches fine, works fine.. but when I detach it, it reverts back completely to the original version of the scope in the inventory.. even the magnification and icon revert to the original and my new version disappears from the inventory.
Any idea what gives?

UPDATE: Fixed it by renaming the scope to something entirely different, everywhere.
Thanks much to Mich_Cartman (https://www.moddb.com/members/mich-cartman) for the suggestions!
