This is more or less what happens when I've had a bit too much to drink and a bit too much spare time on my hands. For one night's work, however, I'm happy with how this turned out. The result is a small-ish map that's a blast for any number of players and some pure infantry action.
There are 4 small islands surrounding a slightly larger central one. Both sides start with a single island and have to capture either the central island plus one other or take all 4 islands around the outside. The central island is a great place to hold out as it has a lot more cover than the others plus medical and ammunition resupply. To get between islands you'll have to run through shallow water without any sort of cover, so you need to make damn sure there's no sniper waiting to blow your head off on the island you're headed towards.
Some custom weapon skins as usual because I'm sick of the normal BF42 ones, use at your leisure but give credit where credit is due.
Move "Sadiz.rfa" to your levels directory, in my case:
C: -> Program Files -> EA Games -> Battlefield 1942 -> Mods -> bf1942 -> Archives -> bf1942 -> levels
For uninstalling, just delete the "Sadiz.rfa" file. Oh wow, that was hard.
You can give it out to your friends, edit it, or make new maps based on it but just don't take credit for stuff you didn't do, or make money out of it. I wouldn't appreciate that.
If this busts your computer in any way, I'm not responsible. Sorry, but it was your decision to put it on your computer.
EA/Dice and so forth.
