If you like the German Leopard tanks in Rise of the Reds, this patch for 1.86 is for you!. The Some ECA Tanks in this patch has been rebuffed to become the superior tank in the game. Especially rebuff the ECA infantry.
INSTRUCTIONS
- GO TO YOUR RISE OF THE REDS DIRECTORY OR ITS MAIN FOLDER WHERE ALL THE FILES ON IT ARE LOCATED.
- EXTRACT THIS ZIP FILE TO THE FOLDER AND COPY AND REPLACE EVERYTHING AND DONE.
- PLAY AS ECA!.

WHAT CHANGED?
- The ECA Leopard and Jagdmammut have certainly been buffed up and the Manticore tank also recieved some buff ups as well.
- AI is more brutal and deploys many units for invasions. Use Hard difficulty for a well balanced Hard AI.
- ECA infantry can fight extremely well as they recieve minor buff ups, use them as mechanized troops and they can certainly destroy everything with their numbers
a good combination would also be using the Felin, Panzerfaust, and Medic in large numbers, they can tear everything a part.
- Leopard and Jagdmammut have their prices increased, The Jagdmmamut changed its voice (and credit to who made them which I forgot once again).
- Heavy Sniper now has a German accent and tells he is equipped with a German DSR 50.CAL Sniper, but did not recieve any buff ups.
- Gepard Flakpanzer recieve minor buffups on its firepower.
- Manticore tank now is a stealth unit.
- ECA Gun turret and ECA Sky battery has minor firepower buffup
- Jagdmammut can crush vehicles go check its update it has been buffed very well and can beat the SENTINEL TANK ONE ON ONE.

Well you made ECA capable to compete with Russia in a head-on fight, which is not supposed to happen.
I will detail:
- Buffs to infantry: either buffs will be even bigger with Venom, or you nerfed Venom infantry, which makes this protocol even less appealing
- Gepard: It was good enough, it is the only anti-air/anti-infantry with area-of-effect (not counting quads with canister rounds)
- Manticore: It already has an insane rate of repair + nano-shield. Stealth is making it broken as hell.
- Turrets buffs: Skyshield is the most powerful basic AA defense. No need to buff it further. Again, it scales with an upgrade. However, I agree that gun turret gould get a buff.
- Jagdmammut: It is not supposed to be a super-heavy tank, but a tank buster. The whole idea of the Jagd is to be hard to use, but very rewarding.
Hope you understand why your patch is completely broken :)
Last, I wonder why you changed the voices of those units. Sniper is supposed to be Brittish, why giving him a German voice ?
First off the Manticore tank is not broken, it is a stealth unit and it will require you to guard when you want it to automatically attack.
2nd I did made only slightly buff to the venom, it was not a heavy powered unit.
3rd Gun turret did have a buff but to balance the game, firepower was buffed up. quite enough when upgraded to those gas ignition rounds
4th the rest.... This is a different perspective of the ECA Faction not RED ALERT CNC thats also why the Sniper and the Jagdmammut are totally different.... This is not for your dreams this is a Optimistic real world stereotype perspective that Russian tanks are crap
I am not comparing ECA to any other C&C. In THIS mod, snipers will belong ONLY to General Charles, who is British, hence my question on why changing his nationality.
Rise of the Reds's ECA is defensive by nature, and supposed to be a bit hard to play.
And YES, Manticore being stealth is broken. It is a heavy support unit, not something you throw alone at your ennemy's face. In the intended design of the unit I mean.

You do have good ideas, I like your changes on Gun turrets and to a lesser extend on Leopards (good to buff them, but you did it a bit too much IMO). But most of them are going on the opposite way of the desired ECA (defensive, and playing with long range attacks).
If you accept a suggestion, I have this:
- Revert Jagdmammut armor and crush ability
- Rise its range by ~10% (both without and with the Gas rounds)
- Make it stealth while not moving (or when not shooting, as you prefer)
- Decrease its price a bit.
With this, you keep its role intact, while buffing it a lot.
- For others, do the same, revert their raw damage, and increase range values.
I said it before, this ECA IS overpowered. It has the best offense AND the best defense in the game. Not good.

Really Russian tanks? ISIS only captured 1 outdated Leopard 2A4..... They take many pictures on the destroyed Leopard tank because they were making a scam..... and RUSSIAN T-14? ARMATA? NEW? OR EQUAL? its the first time Russia copied similiar designs to the west? The T-14 did not use Reactive armour for the first time..... the same to the Western tanks... So why did they just copied them right now..... and stop using the Reactive armour it's just a equal comparable tank... Because the Russian T-14 tanks copied Western design tanks.... with no Reactive armour it's probably just a simple tank.... Armour is even low

No I have a lot of friends who debate a lot of military weapons. Sometimes even standard politics like elections. Depleted Uranium isn't really hard at all it is only 16% Dense than Tungsten

If you really want a debate on real-life, modern armor then I'd be happy to oblige. But the problem here is that you're justifying your patch as a balancer, when in reality you're just injecting a personal bias for the sake of stronkism. Why attempt to sell it as something it isn't?
This patch is fine for those who want to play with an army that they feel matches their perception of reality, I'm not knocking that, but don't attempt to justify it as being "balanced" when each faction in the game has been specifically designed to play to certain strengths.
Thats why I asked if its overpowered or Balanced. it takes time to upload and I have a life I don't care sometimes...

Sure if you compare old T-72 which used outdated shells (which was disarmed long time ago in Russia but Saddam did not do that) with modern Arbrams. Also say that T-34 is crap because Abrams will destroy it in one shot LOL. And tell me how many modern Leopards (not old crap) Turkey already lost in battles in the north Syria? And how many T-90 with syrians crews (not even russian crews) lost? I heard only one and just because silly syrian tanksmen forgot to turn on Active defence system Shtora and Arena which make all AT missles useless agaisnt them. If your friends really know anything about military they should know that any tank can be destroyed if controled by poorly trained crew.
P.S. Armata do not use Reactive Armor? LOL What about Malakhit? Or your friends think that this is science fantastic for Russians? And System of Active Defense Afganit (next gen after Shtora)? Sure because they were old Leo 2A4's and the truth was ISIS was only able to capture one Leopard 2A4 and destroyed it took multiple pictures while they dismantle it piece by piece.... So they were making a propaganda Do your research as well....

Rather than Manticore, Jagdmamut should have stealth instead. That would make more senses because it's a slow an heavy tank destroyer. The thing is great for ambushing enemy tanks but.....
It always die to artillery and jets before it could kill anything, as it stand out way too much. It's too slow to run away from bombardments and its armor is no different from the Leopard.
I did change the armour of the Jagdmammut Do you need it to be stealth are you facing russia all the time? Give it support with the flakpanzer and the wotan array the AI likes to hit them first before they bomb the Jagdmammut and the Leopard
Russia have Goliath counter measure. It doesn't matter if you can shoot the choppers down later, they will always kill your Jagdmammuts first.
Stealth would allow it to not be spotted easily when it is idling. Once you take care of those things they can fight enemy tanks on the open.
So whats it gonna be lose the Manticore's stealth abilities and will need AA gun support everytime and give Jagdmammuts stealth and Remains the same armour
Well this great , I personally thought that after a certain update the Jagdmammut was turned into an absolute atrocity! I know it was done in the name of "Balance" but a tank is a tank! No tank in any medium should have trouble destroying buildings! I like everything else about this mod except this, In fact I believe Rise of the Reds turns Generals into one of the best Cnc games out there!
And also let's consider the tank is pretty damn slow and more importantly very hard to maneuver, as far as I've seen this thing comes to almost a complete stop when it hast to turn, which also happens take in eternity! This makes it easy prey from aircraft to specialized infantry before it even has to face another tank, hell even other tanks would be able to obliterate it in second if this is caught by surprise, which is the only thing it's really supposed to be good at this point!

The Jagdmammut has become a super Heavy so that's why it needs to have some weakspots
the ECA and Russia need a bit of a buffing while playing against friends we all tend to realize that whoever has a GLA on the team is a bound winner while whoever has ECA or Russia is first to go, note when Russia had the frogfoot in the air arsenal it was somewhat of a balance because 3 frogfoots were capable of wreaking havoc, meanwhile the ECA has a good defence but a single katyusha can paralyse it and you are incapable to starting a decent offence

Having red the above it become clear that you the Author is lucking education and manners.... and by the way his knowledge over military things is Minimal...( I am european but as far as the history of armored warfare can go, the eastern block Always had offered better in every way tanks. And this is FACT.) I know the author as ...german cant swallow it....
