Play as Gondor on the classic map of tournament hills... except you don't just have access to Gondor's units but everything.
This is an edit of the 8-player map Tournament Hills to include some extra fun. The extra features only affect Gondor. The buildings are the same but instead of buying specific units, you buy unit tiers which are then randomized into a unit from that pool. The spellbook is also a bit randomized. This does mean that stuff isn't the place you usually expect which is why I've listed everything below to make it easier.
Units
- Gondor Barracks: Standard, Elite and Heroic Spearmen/Swordsmen
- Archery Range: Standard, Elite and Heroic Archers
- Stable: Standard, Elite and Heroic Cav
- Siege Workshop: Standard and Elite Creatures; Melee, Ranged and Special Siege Engines
- Citadel: Single Units
Upgrades
Upgrades are pretty similar to how it would normally work in Gondor but they affect all units. Researching Heavy Armor unlocks it for all your troops. Some notes:
- Dunedain Units of Imladris cannot get upgrades
- Golden Eregion Arrows and Eregion Blades cannot be purchased or researched
- BattleWagon upgrades and Blood Wargs are unlocked by getting the Knight Shield Upgrade
- You can only purchase upgrades if you have a blacksmith on the field
Conclusion
To install simply drag and drop the folder contained in the archive into %appdata%\My The Lord of the Rings, The Rise of the Witch-king Files. As you have no heroes it is recommended to play with a Create-A-Hero. You can only build farms on settlement plots and you can only build the standard outpost on outpost plots.
