Description
A very simple edit to make quest items (including documents from underground labs) droppable. Credits to IgorNitch for his T.H.E. Z.O.N.E. addon, specifically the "Psy helmets and decoder are droppable and have weight" part, which was the inspiration for this addon.

This addon causes the game to crash when accepting any radiant quest that involves retrieving items from a dead body. For example;

Thanks for this! Although I too have had the bug for not being able to open 'rioc_sid_item_2'. I compared the original items_quest.ltx and have noticed a chunk missing including: [chimera_scan_device], [rioc_sid_base_item], [rioc_duty_item] and [rioc_ecolog_item].
I may create a patch for this because sometimes I need to drop the case for Sid which is 12KG?! What is in there Sid? Haha!
Could you please make that patch? I doubt the author of this mod will ever update it.
I think I have solved the problem. If you're still playing Anomaly and still have issues with this problem, here's what you need to do (back up your savefiles before you do it):
1. Download this mod and extract it.
2. Go deep inside the mod's gamedata folder until you find the file "items_quest.ltx".
3. Paste these 2 lines of code somewhere in the folder:
[rioc_sid_item_2]:tch_quest
quest_item = false ;true
4. Compress it into a .rar/.7z file and add it into your mod-loader like normal, just name it something like "Modified Droppable Quest Items" or sth.
I have to warn you though, as soon as I got into the game a bunch of uncompleted missions unfortunately (or fortunately) got auto-completed and I don't know why. So I advise you to turn it off right when you give the package to Sidorovich.

ah yess... same problem as me, but mine happened when entering jupiter then it crashes to desktop
