My take on the Green-Cross to Red-Cross type of mods.
This is my version of the Green to Red Cross mod for Quake 2 Remaster.
To install, just place the files in your rerelease/baseq2 folder.
The difference from this to the others is that it reverts the old / original Trap meat-cube model from the original Mission Pack 1, makes the cross on its HD model to red, and uses the original COLORMAP.PCX / 256-color palette tones for the cross on both versions, so it should theoretically work on a software-renderer, and also follows the original id artistic limitations and design from back at the time.
The HUD files have been taken from the original pak0 so, nothing extra here.
