A wave of crow caws sweep the map a minute before a blowout
an old project from last year I forgot about, sounds are all made by dannydealmusic.
also has an optional merged script of Overly Dramatic Blowout Music v2: Redramatized with this one because why not.
aaand also added an optional retimed script that makes the first wave come 40 55 seconds earlier
also #3: added quieter crow sounds as optional
This seems like a nice addition. It would be good if some crows where spawned in nearby trees and start to flea far away.
I can already picture myself ******** my pants to the screeches, but instead seeing crows flying away at the last 10 seconds- wow.

a brilliant idea, altho it's a gameplay change, with the advantage to know when an emission drops one minute earlier, BUT in some maps this comes in pretty handy.
when you have no drugs to knock yourself out and stand somewhere in darkscape or on the outer edges in zaton/jupiter/CNPP/truckcementry and other large map parts where hideouts have a bigger distance between each other, or just a very low amount of hideouts in general.
I dunno if youd be willing to improve this further, I think its a great idea, but I want to see emissions be made more dangerous with some speed changes to the blowout and the way you present the sound effects. I find it pretty easy most of the time to find safety.
I think it's possible to retime the waves, I'll see if I can make the first one come faster
I saw you Updated your last addon and literally thought about the crows today.
Mad respect for uploading this! Think i will start with another Blowout Music Addon and i´ll try to add the crows also.
I´ll try to make it sound Lore friendly so..
Any suggestions ?
my new blowout music mod had to make some sacrifices for its cover music feature so it only has room for the 2 songs that play in and out of cover. I do have a file already made with the crows merged into the music script so I'll probably pack it with this mod in an update in a bit.

edit: yeah they died and turn into zombies and other NPC's blasted them to kingdom come

Played with this for about 12 hours today and I have some feedback.
Very cool.
I think the volume is a too loud, given that its basically non-3d audio, I think you should go for a more muffled approach to make its placement vague and immersive and not feel like its crows in your ears.
I think the blowout wave should happen even faster still, faster than the 40 seconds sooner. The crows are indication enough to be careful. You get so much pre-warning with the birds, that its a bit too easy to avoid, imo.
thanks! the crows actually do have 3d position but it's a bit hard to hear sometimes since it plays multiple at a time. I've pushed the timing 15s further and added quieter crows as well.

I think with 1-2 falling crows in field of view of player will be some fear of incoming blowout.
I hope they add something like this for STALKER 2 and everything else suggested above with crows flying around and the one where crows fall dead from the sky. Great idea.
Excellent mod. And since I'm playing in Spring, there is extra immersion from all the birds migrating. Everytime crows go by I can't be sure if it's the game or real life lol

Yo, just so you know bmblbx176's additions throw errors in console on sleep so i would steer clear of adding them unless you can fix that part. They don't crash the game but it's still concerning.
That's good to know, but what does that have to do with this mod? I'm not being a smartass, I'm genuinely curious.
if you look through the comments he tossed up some files that summons more crows before emissions and tries to clean up how many are around on sleep.

Tried this add on (really like it btw), but it stops working after a couple of emissions. I even tried to reinstall it, but still no crows sound before emission.
I tried installing this because I really wanna try it but I just can't get it to play, I think anyway. Starting a blowout in Debug mode along with a pre-blowout too don't seem to get this sound to play. Little help?
Does this mod stop sirens from going off? If not, what would cause that?
If you have Siren and Radio it doesn't seem to play the Siren. Siren only will play siren though.
