from your demo video above, the only piece of criticism I'd have that I think could be adjusted is how the Chernobyl piece dies down around 1:30 and there's about 10 seconds of it just fading awkwardly before the new theme hits at 1:40. I think if you could find a way to close that gap in a more elegant way, the transition and sound choices you'd made are pretty great!
Other than that, be mindful of levels towards the end, the high pitch especially sounds like a straight path to ear damage ;) Just level down the mix of cut off the highs a little towards the end, I reckon.
Just tested - I think you had confused myself and others by adding the chernobyl music to the showcase video, there's none of that in the actual mod haha.
Which is to say: I did like the chernobyl music as you presented it in the video, but I also definitely like what's in the actual addon.
Sounds great, good job!
Well, I didn't understand anything you wrote at all either, till I dropped it into a translator.
I'm a little confused now myself: in your video there's chernobyl theme music. It sounds great, despite my suggestion. In the game, however, the music isn't present at all, at least for me, hence my second comment.
Anyways, my bottom line was that it was good work either way and liked it, so no sweat.
EDIT: I think I figured out the misunderstanding. I'd checked your files, the musical bit is indeed there, under 'verfar.ogg'. I'm not sure why it hasn't played for me during the emission but I suspect that's because I've only so far tested emission by manually initiating it from the debug menu - it starts instantly and probably skips the musical file because of that. I think if it starts naturally during gameplay it will all play, music included.
Again, really good work and don't take my criticism too hard!
Just experienced my first blowout with full effects you'd implemented. I love it, brilliant work and very well synced.
My only piece of criticism is that the high-pitched ending is ear-splittingly laud and could really use some volume reduction curve towards the very end - when playing on headphones it's so laud it can actually be harmful to ears. Other than that superb work!
Now this is pretty spooky, nice!
can you do a version with no music with only the tripod sound? it's f awesome and immersive
ambient that sounds a minute before blowout?
Could you delete the music? Otherwise it sounds great!
чем то напомнило начальную миссию в battlefield bad company 2
It's Hildur's Guonadottir's Chernobyl theme - absolutely mean piece of music. Interesting experiment you'd mixed up, might check out, thanks!

я рад любой критике. Спасибо!

Согласен, я это поправлю, но в будущем
good to hear, will look forward to it!
