This only works with Duke 3D v1.3 (ie a non-atomic version of duke3d.grp). Some serious alien scum have massacred a small military base on the planet Orion Prime. They've stolen a dangerous and powerful technology that could be doomsday for Earth. Duke's got to stop the aliens before they can deliver the potent space fuel to the alien space fleet. This is NOT the kind of level where you just (1) Shoot aliens, pick up stuff, and go to next room. (2) REPEAT ENDLESSLY.

Description : Some serious alien scum have massacred a small military base on the
planet Orion Prime. They've stolen a dangerous and powerful technology
that could be doomsday for Earth. Duke's got to stop the aliens before
they can deliver the potent space fuel to the alien space fleet.
This is NOT the kind of level where you just

(2) REPEAT ENDLESSLY.
Orion Prime has:
New Custom artwork
A riddle to solve
Variety: lots of different kinds of rooms
Not just aliens: In level 2, there are whole space ships for you to
attack and destroy
A story plot, with a good start and a climactic final scene
Lots of detail
A firing range (a kind of shooting gallery to test your skills)
A nice commissary (grocery store)
A good mix of action-packed scenes and exploration
A very dangerous holodeck
An HTML help file, with hints, answers, and locations of secret rooms
USER ART : Yes - About 50 new art tiles. I created most, except for those below.
For this reason, the total ZIP is about 1 meg.
This has only been tested with 133-Mhz Pentium, however I guess it would run fine on slower
machines. (They MAY run slow in a few places, but it would still be worthwhile.)
Credits go to Jason F. Mclauchlin for his Aquapark.map, which showed me what Duke was capable of.
Also to Mike Shaw for his Duke Map launcher .bat file.

* Please do not modify my maps as a base for new levels. However, you may use any of my original
artwork if you give me credit. You can probably also use the artwork that I got from the
internet, but you should check with the webpages I've shown above.

* Play Information *
You must run (double-click) ORION1.BAT and ORION2.BAT to play. These files set up the
custom artwork and run the levels. They create backups of the art files and user.con first,
and restore them after you exit Duke.
For hints, run Orion.htm.
I think the 2nd level is the better of the two.
