Download new Dots and reticles extravaganza
This download includes old versions number: 3, 3.5, 4, 4.2, 5 and 7.1 - for potential backward compatibility with older BaS versions for some people.
As of version 7.1:
- Made ALL of the red dots from Mich_Cartman's Boomsticks and Sharpsticks smaller.
There are 2 versions: Small and Tiny.
Barska AC10632's model now properly reflects which dot size is chosen.
(Red dots)
- Made a new 2D reticle for 1P59 Giperon.
(2D Reticles -> 2D 1P59)
- Made a new 2D reticle for Elcan Specter.
(2D Reticles -> 2D Elcan Specter)
- Made 2 new 2D reticles for PSO scopes - with and without eyecap.
(2D Reticles -> 2D PSOs)
- Made 4 new 2D reticles for ACOG, one based on marathon1122's ACOG, other 3 made by moi. ๐
(2D Reticles -> 2D ACOG - attachable and 2D ACOG - pre-attached on some weapons -> "Chosen version 1-4")
- Made 3 new 2D reticles for March Tactical 3-24x42 FFP scope.
(2D Reticles -> 2D March -> "Chosen version 1-3")
- Remade 2D Leupold Mark 8 reticle.

- Made 3 EoTech reticles to choose from:
-Classic 1 dot version reticle
-Classic 2 dot version reticle
-Vortex UH1 reticle
All 3 come in red and green (or turquoise rather, but that's how they look in reality) - both versions are now a separate attachment in-game, thus both can be installed (also as far as I know, green UH1s don't exist, but who cares ๐)
(EoTech Reticles -> Green (553 model) and/ or Red (XPS3-0 model) -> "Chosen version 1-3")
- Made 4 Cobra sight reticles to choose from:
-Cross
-Chevron
-Chevron with dot
-Dot
All 4 come in orange and green. All reticles and colors combination are avaible for each Cobra model separately.

- Made a small package for preexisting 1P78 Kashtan, 1PN931, PN93-1 Night Sight, PN23 and 1P29 with and without eyecap that decolorizes them and slightly adjusts the accuracy of said reticles.
(Slight changes for old reticles)
- 2D Scopes are available in 21:9 versions - low resolution, accuracy might be off.
If any 21:9 reticle appears squeezed in game, try installing normal version of that reticle.

Installation:
Do NOT use mod enablers/ mod organizers when installing - sorry about that.
Keep opening the folders - contained within the downloaded RAR folder - with the option of your choosing until you see gamedata folder show up.
Drag it/ copy it into your main Anomaly directory and overwrite everything.
Only one option per scope can be installed (*Attachable and Pre-attached 2D ACOG scopes are a separate file, thus both can be installed; same goes for Green and Red EoTechs - they are a different model)
(i.e.:
you can't install both 2D Scopes -> 2D ACOG - Attachable -> 1 - Chevron and 2 - Crosshair at the same time.
or
you can't install both Red dots -> 1 - Small dots and 2 - Tiny dots at the same time.)
Update 5th of November 2021 (v7.1):
- Fixed wrong aspect ratio for 16:9 version of Elcan Specter - I might have rushed packing the files a bit - my bad ๐ฅด
- Added support of modded reticles for EoTechs mounted on frontal rails of a few weapons - I have overlooked it, as I was only testing these with weapons, that used close mounted ones - my bad ๐ฅด
Update 3rd of November 2021 (v7):
- Made a completely new 2D reticle for 1P59 Giperon - that beauty deserved a proper one! ๐
- Made a completely new 2D reticle for Elcan Specter - finally one, that I'm truly happy with - hope you like it as well! ๐
- Made new reticle for March Tactical 3-24x42 FFP based on its real life counterpart (Classic); remade 2 old (Dot and Crosshair with dot) reticles and incorporated them into the new scope body
- Made a package of 4 reticles for Cobra sights (EKP 8-02, 8-18 and 1S-03) in orange and green version
Update 1st of November 2021 (v6):
- Updated all viable components of the addon to work with the newest BaS version (29th of August 2021)
- Removed sight window cleaning option as it is no longer required
- Removed 3D scopes as the options included previously no longer exist in BaS ¯\_(ใ)_/¯
- 2D ACOGs now have two options to choose from when installing as there are some weapons, that come pre-equipped with said ACOG and utilize a different file in comparison to the attachable one
- Both EoTech color options now correspond to a separate model rather than both models sharing the same reticle
Update 26th of February 2021 (v5):
- Made 2 completely new PSO reticles with and without eyecap.
- Changed the base for previously added March Tactical 3-24x42 FFP reticles - the old ones are still included.

- Adjusted and decolorized 1P78 Kashtan, 1PN931, PN93-1 Night Sight, PN23 and 1P29 with and without eyecap.
- Remade 1P78 Kashtan, 1PN931, PN93-1 Night Sight, PN23 and 1P29 with and without eyecap for 21:9 "support".

- Converted 2 preexisting PSO scopes to 21:9 "support" - the PSO-1M (no eyecup) and PSO-1M2-1.
Update of an update 20th of February 2021 (v4.1):
- Converted included 2D Reticles for 21:9 monitor "support" - resolution and accuracy might be bad.
Also, I have converted them by making the most simple cross equations, I don't ACTUALLY know if they are going to have correct aspect ratios in 21:9. ๐
Update 20th of February 2021 (v4):
- Updated all red dots options, if possible - some were missing or not working.
- Blue and turquoise tints on sights aren't a part of BaS anymore (excluding Kemper) - now sight cleaning mainly removes dark, transparent texture from few sights.
- Added 3 new 2D ACOG reticles - Crosshair, Horseshoe with shevron, Horseshoe with dot.
- 3D ACOG Reticle doesn't work - it was removed altogether.
- Added 2 new 2D and 3D March Tactical 3-24x42 FFP reticles.
- Added new 2D Leupold Mark 8 reticle (- gosh this thing feels good to shoot with ๐).
- Remade available Cobra reticles - closed the gaps between lines, made the lines thiner, changed the color a bit, made a chevron smaller.
- Added a pack that removes slightly green tint from PSO-1M (no eyecup) and PSO-1M2-1.
- Removed previosuly present tint from 2D Elcan Specter reticle (it's still visible on the preview below).
Update 2nd of December 2020 (v3 & v3.5):
- Removed green tint and dirt from Firefield Kemper XL-M Reflex Sight (all in one, no color option).
- Remade 2, 2D reticles: Leupold Mark 8 and ACOG.
- Remade 2, 3D reticles attachable on the M4 Butcher: Leupold Mark 8 and ACOG.
- Remade 3D reticle attached to the AK104: Sig Bravo 4.
- Made new 3D reticle for March Tactical 3-24x42 FFP (Marchf in-game) attachable on the M4 Butcher.
- Added small and tiny version for Micro T1's red dots used in tactical kits.
- All the aforementioned reticles had their accuracy checked and realigned if necessary.
Update 16th of May 2020 (v2):
- added 2 packs for tinted red dot sight's, that decrease the amount of color and dirt or remove color and dirt completely from the sight's window.
- added green versions of EoTech reticles.
- adjusted Tiny Dot Barska AC10632's model, so that the dot on the knob better aligns with the line above it (I was going crazy over it ๐).
Update 15th of May 2020 (v1):
- removed the slight glow around EoTech reticles, because it was - to put it simply - ugly.
- removed tiny smudges from the Elcan Specter reticle's edges.
- made 2 more versions of Elcan Specter reticle - dark and darker version.
- made another pack of even smaller red dots.
- made 2 new textures for Barska AC10632 Red Dot Sight to reflect which dot size is chosen.

Provided Mich hasn't changed the files from which the scopes get the reticle textures, everything should work just fine.
I didn't see anything about the ACOG scope in your notes. With such a dirt smudged, bulky and obstructive scope I'd imagine it would be one of the first to be tweaked.
Hey! I presume you have the 2D one on mind, don't you? The high resolution with green (lime to be more exact) TA31-CH reticle? That one was rather awesome looking the last time I was using it, so that might be the one reason why I haven't changed it.
I recall one version that just covered the whole screen with black, with a circle opening as an imitation of a scope with a red TA31-D-100288 reticle in it. That one was really bad.
On the other hand, if you have 3D one on mind, I don't think I have even seen texture for it.
If you'd be willing to upload a screenshot of the scope you've got on mind I could take a look at it when and if I take some further action with this little addon - no promises though. ;)
It looks good, is it possible to make an instruction on what exactly needs to be installed from the archive, there are a lot of files and there is no description of what and how
I was thinking about adding a small "how to install" note when updating the description. Gonna add it right up. :)

Because if so, I have absolutely no idea.
And as far as I know there aren't any holographics in BaS - at least yet.
Let's say that what I do is just replacing files that Mich (the BaS creator) puts on top of systems. I don't make the systems myself. ;)

I wasn't even planning on doing much more for some time, but when I got my hands on those pip scopes I couldn't resist. It sparked the want to do some more with it. LOL ๐
The fps drop is harsh in some cases and the sensitivity is very unpleasant, but still - awesome work. ๐

Sensitivity - yes that's why I am not taking it seriously, for me the pip scopes still not really playable even with my 2070. Despite all of this, you did really nice stuff.๐

Hi, I going to upload new small update today. Now all textures have different names for example if it was mepro_dot now is wpn_mepro_dot. Actually if I not mistaken there is only this file needs to be changed โ๏ธ

Is this still working with 1.5.1?
This whole addon of an addon isn't code based - it's DDS (image file) based, thus it's not going to have any problems working on any of Anomaly versions - as long as Mich doesn't change the way BaS works, that is.
That being said, some of the files were recently changed, fliped and mixed. Some of them still work, some of them don't.
I'm working on the next update at the moment as well as fixing some of the missing stuff. :)

I must warn you however, as written in the "patch notes" the resolution and accuracy might be... Scratch that... IS going to be bad. ๐
Even in 16:9 versions these reticles use 1024x1024 canvas to get the image from - just the nature of the beast.
Please let me know if they even appear remotely correct in 21:9 resolution - aspect ratio-wise.

This is actually really great, sights had been bugging me for a while now. By the way, is there a similar mod (that makes sights overall better, dots smaller/crispier/etc.) for vanilla Anomaly?
I have never really seen any that change the vanilla sights.
And since Blindside's weapon reanimation I would definitely not mind playing with i.e. AK74M PK-A, but that dot on it... That thick, white dot... Always drove me crazy. ๐
Exactly that one is one of the biggest offenders, yeah. But they all are just way too thicc, which is not only unrealistic it also pretty much defeats the whole point of the sight.
That being said, when scanning through unpacked db files, I do see some dots that could be remade, but the biggest - hehe... get it? ...biggest - offenders are made in a way that go beyond my ability to change them, unfortunately.
It's actually the case with few in BaS as well.
The rest are just vanilla 2D scopes and we already have nice 2D vanilla scope addons.

21:9 Scopes work fine, there is just vertical line in rightside of some scopes. its outside of scopes but its not that bad, minor problem. Some dragunov/SVO scopes are stilla stretched. Thanks for great work!

When it comes to PSOs, I know, I haven't converted any of them... Might as well. It's literally few minutes. ๐
After a small inspection I don't see anything that could cause that line on the rightside on any of the scopes. Could you specify which scope exactly has this problem and maybe share a screenshot? ๐ค

There seem to be problem with 2d acog sight in 21:9 resolution. Sight is squeezed too much in horizontal axis, but works normally after I deleted your acog files.
Few sights still would need your love in 21:9 =)
They are:
1PN93-1 Night Sight
PN-23 Night Sight
1P29 "Tulpan" (no Eyecup)
its funny how 1P29 "Tulpan" doesn't look right but almost same 1P29 "Tulip" Scope works nicely.

Does the rest appear to be fine?
So acog scope is about 266 pixels from left/right to center (measured crosshair lens length). Up/down to center was about 348-352 pixels.

I have also taken a screenshot of the 21:9 ACOG now, squeezed it from 2560x1440 to 2560x1080 and it's just slightly streched horizontally, which is fine. WhAt Is ThIs WhIcHeRy?! ๐

Using Modpack by Boss v 1.2 based on BaS (21.02.21) as base, don't know if that should matter?

Because I know this ACOG - the one you have shown me - and I'm starting to wonder whether the game all of a sudden knows that "no strechy strech, strech" when it comes to this particular scope. ๐
I think I have might found problem in my end. I was using BaS and Anomaly Tacticool Scopes 1.3.9 and didn't remember it. So I just tested normal 16:9 Acog and it works fine and looks very nice! =)
I took a look at the Boss' modpack and at TCS. I saw a mention of it being based on Anomaly code now, that supports all aspect ratios, but my question was... How, what changed..? There weren't any files other than DDSs in there so I just don't understand, but anyway. I'm just thinking out loud. ๐

Thanks for the update! Almost all scopes fixed now for 21:9. Altough needed to move 2 pso scopes from normal 2d reticles (wpn_crosshair_pso1 and wpn_crosshair_vss). Anything I could do to make integrated ak-12 monolith acog scope (wpn_ak12_custom_mono_kit) not stretched? Normal acog works fine now.
Also 1 more thing, I can't get both 1P29 sights workin are they using same reticle?
1P29 "tulip" looks wrong but
1P29 "tulpan" (No Eyecup) looks good.

Oh my goodness, the other mods are adding quite some fuss. ๐
In your case you are going to have to go to:
1. 2D Reticles for 21 by 9 monitors
2. 2D Acog
3. "Option 1-4"
4. Keep opening all the folders that pop up.
5 When you see two DDS files, copy "wpn_crosshair_acog_rmr" ONLY into: ...\Anomaly\gamedata\textures\wpn
Also please explain what "looks wrong" means when it comes to the Tulip.
The Green Eotech vortex doesn't work on some weapons example Scar it stays Red, thought i might let u know.
Edit: Tested some more, and it only works for M4 Tactical, Ds Arms and Ruger. The rest Nato weapons are the standard Red eotech
It was never meant to work on all of the weapons. This addon is directed towards changing contents of BaS addon.
Neither SCARs nor the EoTech you're talking about (there are two) are a part of it.
I'd gladly just copy the file that changes the BaS EoTech and apply it to the one that vanilla Anomaly uses, however I don't have access to this latter file - it's buried a bit deeper in the game files. ๐
