Description
Essentially I've located every and all files to do with eating noises (drinking is not affected) from the base game and FDDA and replaced them with a silent file. My ears are happy.

I loved to the Cookie Monster as well, was funny but didn't cover all the sounds and I wanted to do an immersive playthrough. The Cookie Monster version is absolute comedy gold tho!

Thanks for doing this! Saved me the trouble of hunting all of those files down. For anyone else who also hates the lip smacking when thirsty, you can manually replace all of the thirst files with the silent file he created into your gamma directory:
\gamedata\sounds\characters_voice\player_eng\thirst_*.ogg

Suffering from misophonia means I involuntarily react to certain noises with a strong fight or flight response. Someone making eating noises? My brain immediately decides I need to hurt them or jump out a window.
It doesn't make sense, there is no logic to it. I have no idea how to stop it. It's too strong to possibly ignore or avoid.
Which is why mods like these make the game become playable for people like me. Thank you!
However, there are still some rather (for me) offensive drinking noises in the game. Perhaps potential for another mod?
