Open scopes for AO 3.1 - CoC version 1.4.22 made by Morka.
I put together the best quality open scopes made by Morka according to the ones from AO 3.1

*v1.1:
-Added a more polished version for the VSS scope.
-Added alternative scope versions that fits with the actual weapon model in game; such as the VSS and the G-36.
*v1.2:
-Added config files for 16-9 and 16-10 monitors.
(This files adapts the scopes size to the actual screen resolution, preventing that half screen scope bug.)
*v1.3:
-Added a new texture for the G-36 scope.
-Added lower scope for the G-36. (Now you can choose between the upper or the lower part)
*v1.4:
-Replaced all the scopes with better quality ones.
-ACOG has no more the red wire like the one from AO.
This is for CoC 1.5 R6?

Try turning up your texture detail slider passed half or more, alternatively if you have a weaker computer and can't increase your graphics settings, you can download and use this.

Having issues with scope that can have adjustable sight
The scope on Gauss Rifle
The scope on G3SG1
And basically any other scope that can adjust the zoom level
this isn't good for playing on my onboard graphics intel uhd that coms with my new i7 8700k I just need some patience for a vid-card ,can you make the rest of the screen acound the scope blurry ?
You cant add blur just with texture.
Its impossible without adding special shaders to game it self that will have specific area that apply such effect around scope leaving middle unblurred.
Its the same with zoom just in the middle. It need totally new rendering mode that you need implement in game, you cant add it as just an addon for any game.
You can do a poor blur effect by filling the rest of the space around the scope texture with an translucent texture, the same way the scope texture itself appears slightly blurry except for the inner section.
It's not a blur effect it's just semi-transparent gray color around scope, it dont blurt anything because it just can't to that by it self. I tried different ways of doing that like eg adding noise mask like radiation have but it just don't do anything beside adding grey mask around.

Scopes should not have mipmaps at all. Any textures that are in fixed position from player dont need them because mips are used only in distance. Beside making file bigger it dont have any purpose in them.
It actually can screw up look of it if you have different settings because when you change texture details all it do is use other level of mipmap as main texture, making scope visible just in the corner of screen.
Could you find a fix for Armory Overhaul's bugged sights? When you hip-fire with the EoTech or EKP sights on certain guns, the sights are broken. They will appear randomly on the guns model when you fire but no inside the site, it's annoying. Also a lot of the sites have painted pictures and don't use a glowing holo which makes them impossible to use. So updating those textures to at least glow would be nice. The only sight I can really use right now and enjoy is the c-more on most guns. the EKP only works properly when it's on something like the AK-105 and has a dot picture instead of a tri-cross style reticle.
I'd like to install this with CoP, I assume that I just drag and drop the files into the gamedata folder as with AO 3.1?
I have a question, does this work with the newer AO that is also compatible with CoC1.5R6? I'm using 1.4.22, but with the newer AO.

can you make a PiP one so the outside of the scope isnt zoomed in too, its looks alot more realistic
