Nice looking map, thanks for your work. It will be in the map voting on my RotU 2.2.1 (cod4 1.6) development server after the next server restart.

I did move your *.gsc file into the iwd in the map folder--there is no need for a map to ever put anything into the mod folder.

Hi :)
if the map as you would use only "rotu" you would not have problems.
but this map is designed so that it can be used with all mod and is there the problem.

Installation Instructions:

Place the mp_fnrp_metro folder within your USERMAPS folder

mp_fnrp_metro.ff
mp_fnrp_metro_load.ff
mp_fnrp_metro.iwd

. rotu install:

unzip "metro_rotu.rar" and place the file "zz_maps.iwd" into the mod folder
"if the folder was created not delete, only add new content to their old iwd file."

. rozo install:

unzip "metro_rozo.rar" and place the file "z_svr_rozo.iwd" into the mod folder
if the folder was created not delete, only add new content to their old iwd file.

. alpha install:

. Alpha install.

.unzip the file "alpha_metro.rar"

.grab the 2 folders "map" and "btd_waypoints" put in the file
"zz_svr_waypoints.iwd", and the file "add_to_select_map.txt"
open it and copy it into "select_map.gsc"

Hi. :-)

I don't understand how releasing files for three different mods affects where you should install the map's primary *.gsc file on a RotU server, or how requiring every player to download every main *.gsc file for every map on the server before they can play their first game, or forcing them to download the main *.gsc files for every map anytime the server owner adds or removes a map? Am I missing something? What problem are you trying to avoid by placing it in the mod folder instead of the map's folder?

Thanks.

P.S. There is a (very common) bug in your main *.gsc file--any calls to loadFx() must happen before the call to waittillStart(). See: Code.google.com
