A small alert that appears when ambient radiation exceeds the "normal" range
This work only for the "Daytime Radiation" mode.
The idea is that the player can know specifically how much radiation he is receiving from the environment. This value depends on the suit and mask you wear.
It will appear only when the radiation received is greater than 0.4 mSv/s
The Geiger only counts the radiation that "has already entered", this mod counts "how much ENVIRONMENTAL radiation is entering"
Note: Ambient radiation is not the same as radiation from anomalies. So this won't warn about anomalies.
I don't know how this interacts with Arszi's Dynamic Radiation Zones and Radiation Overhaul add-on. I don't really know if rain and weather work with "anomalies" or "radiation in the environment". At a code level they're different things.
there is a surplus "space" after receiving. nice mod man, this could make daytime radiation playable
Ye, fixed. Thx!
Now, I'm gonna use this with Arszi's mod. I hate going in a radbag without noticing and eating 200 msv each second for about a minute hehe.
I'll drop a comment here again if it works as supposed. And if I remember.
For now, yes, it will only work with ambient radiation. But I plan to change some things, so that it works with other things like radiation in water, and anomalies. Everything, linked to the geiger counter.
That would be most welcome. I, for one, will be waiting the update anxiously. Greetings!
should be good to see a real Geiger that counts the ambient radiation and not the player's radiation
That's right. I'll be adding more soon. So keep it updated ;)
