A 4 player map by JaysonV.
Mission: SIEGE (ver. 1.1)
(2 vs. 2) multiplayer or single player map
A 2-4 player map for Company of Heroes:
(This map is NOT based on any particular WW2 story and is fictional) -
THE GERMANS have captured a city and all its resources. They have destroyed several bridges in key locations
And are preparing a defense to hold the city. It is and should be the primary objective of the Americans to
recapture the city and take the resources before the Germans become strong enough to launch a heavy offensive.
The Germans are dug-in and already have Bunkers, Mines and AA-Guns emplacements at key locations. The resources are
Locked down booby trapped and some are guarded. However, the Germans are poorly equipped with fuel and have no immediate vehicles
Or military personnel available. They can be caught by early surprise but due to the extra resource are expecting some heavy reinforcements.
THE AMERICANS have entered the city from the west and have setup Head Quarters. It was during an earlier attempt to recapture the east
City an American convoy had been ambushed and fell prey to a mine field. The Germans have captured some American POW's but have started
executing them and burning their bodies. Upon report to HQ the Americans have sent for early reinforcements. This is where you! come in.
To even the odds; Each American player already has two Airborne teams landing on top of a hill near a German resource field.
They are joined by one Engineer team each. But beware; the resources here are heavily guarded by hill side AI bunkers and some
German mines. The Airborne troops have access to a couple of 81mm mortars to quickly deal with the bunker treats. Also to help
on the east side back at HQ the Americans also each start with one Ranger Team each and one Sherman Tank to even things up.
The Germans control most of the city, so this is necessary to even the odds of game play. But remember their are German
Mine fields placed in strategic locations around the city to deal with as well. Hint: "I wouldn't play around in the grassy areas"
Might be a good Idea to use engineer mine sweepers. Before the American POW's were captured they notifield HQ that they were able
to hide their m2a1 105 Field Battery somewhere west of the city near a river bank on a hill camouflaged with foliage. Find it before the Germans
do or you will regret it.
Hold the cities resources that you already control and reinforce ASAP. Drive the Americans back out.
The Germans have laid siege on the entire city. You must take the resources before Germans become strong enough to launch
A heavy offensive. Liberate the city and rid the Germans of their control resources. Good Luck and Enjoy!
-Unzip all the files from the CAEN NORMANDY zip: into "C:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes\WWII\Data\Scenarios\mp\"
(If you don't already have a "mp" folder in your "...\WWII\Data\Scenarios\" folder, make one!)
-Create a shortcut to "Company of Heroes.exe" if you don't have one.
-Right-click on the "Company of Heroes.exe" shortcut and add " -dev" to the end of the target.
"C:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes\RelicCOH.exe"
"C:\Program Files\THQ\Company of Heroes\RelicCOH.exe" -dev
(Make sure you have a space before the -dev and that it is not in the quotation marks)
GAME PLAY Notes:
There's not a lot of Fuel being generated in the city. There is only One High Fuel point in the map. So fuel would be extremely important to the AI
Or the human players who need vehicles. The lack of fuel is on purpose to promote the use of troops in this map. Although some vehicles are necessary.
Trying to use a lot of them in this map is not recommended. This map is BEST suited for infantry because of the narrow places and some hard to reach resources.
Military vehicles are restricted to the main roads and open spaces on the east side of the city.
Feel free to use this map in any way you want, just please give old JaysonV credit for his work!

NOTE: This! Is my Second COH map, my first ever was "CEAN, Battle of Normandy" but don’t let that scare you.
I spent a lot of time working and testing both of them.
My friends have played and enjoyed this map ass well.
I would appreciate ANY constructive criticism that you fellow mapper's might have- Thank you.
