It took a thousand years to build the perfect battle machine.
But it only takes a second to pull the trigger!
Mechassault hit the X-Box in 2002, and instantly became a favorite with the X-Box community. One of the first games for X-Box Live, it attracted thousands of mechwarriors and other robot-fighting enthusiasts. While it may not have been one of the better Classic Battletech or Mechwarrior games, it was still impactful over the sheer size of its gaming audience, even if it wasn't true to canon or mech accuracy.
Now, you can pilot the mechs as they deployed with Mechassault with the variants in this pack!
This pack contains 30 mech variants based off the loadouts which were featured in Mechassault and Mechassault 2: Lone Wolf. It also contains a Word of Blake "bloody hand" decal.
As a bonus, it contains the box art for Mechassault and Mechassault 2: Lone Wolf, the Mechassault Main Menu Theme, and Papa Roach's "Getting Away With Murder" and album art in three different styles as decals from the aforementioned album since the song was used in the intro sequences and game levels for Mechassault 2: Lone Wolf.

So what exactly does this mod add? New variants for the mechs featured in MechAssault 1 and 2 that allow players to use Word of Blake variants or just reskinned variants with the layouts presented in the Xbox games?
This pack adds variants created in the Mech Lab, and iconography converted into useable decals. The variants are based on the loadouts seen on mechs in Mechassault 1 and 2. I hope you enjoy them!
