· This is an improvement of the texture pack, "MBK mmp 24bits".
Sryml and me, we have used a program called "Topaz Gigapixel AI", to improve the quality of all the textures.
The result is a resolution 4 times higher, more sharpness and a little better details.
· This HD textures pack will be included in the next versions of the "Hyperborean mod".
This HD textures pack can be used also with others mods, and also with the original game.
- About hardware requirements:
The map loads will take longer than before.
More RAM is needed so that the game doesn't slow down.
At least 4 GB of RAM is required, but more than 6 GB is recommended.
- How to install this HD textures pack:
· Simply replace the original files with the modified files, in their respective directories.
· In the folder C:/...Blade/3DChars/ ---> Replace in there, all their respective files.
· Due to the big size of the files, this is only the part 1 of the "MBK mmp HD 2019".
The rest of the textures will be included in the others parts. These are 5 parts. More than 7 GB in total.

If there is something wrong or if some texture is missing, please tell me and I will try to correct it.
could you make a patch for the HD textures of Zoe's original clothes and armor? it would be very much appreciated. :)

In fact, the graphics renderer used in the Blade of Light is "r3Dfx". "r3Dfx" does not support textures higher than 256*256.
So, you can only use opengl or D3d. :)

Didn't know that, thank you for that bit of info. I wonder if that mod will ever get updated..
At least, there's the gorentity mod for the blood effects.By the way, which renderer would you recommend for playing blade of darkness i.e. opengl or D3d?
I am using dgVoodoo+D3d, which works perfectly on my win7 system. Dg+D3d solves the black font problem and its graphics quality is the best.
So I recommend that you give priority to dg+D3d. But it doesn't work on some machines. And OpenGL has the best compatibility.
