This is my personal edit of Dancso Maximum HUD. Supports widescreen and additional HUD features.
Only available in 16:9 and tested in GZDoom. Feel free to change this HUD to your liking.
Any edits to fonts or textures of the original doom may have negative effects on the HUD visuals.
Changes:
-Spread out normal HUD elements to fit 16:9 screens
-Added current held weapon icon
-Added power-up countdown timers
-Fixed keys and skulls not appearing
-Mugshot moved left of keys icon
-Increased health and armor number interpolate
-Changed active weapon ammo icon to ammo counter
-Added current difficulty to map mode
-Added enemies killed and secrets found in map mode. This does not reveal the max number. I use "overlay only" map setting so this may appear differently
-Removed color changes to armor bar above 100%
-Health number will now go into the negatives when killed
-Compatibility with Smooth DooM to fix missing rocket launcher icon and mugshots
Pick one of the files from either Vanilla or Smooth DooM and not both.
