How to config:
Open the gamedata/configs/lootmoney_cfg.ltx and edit the variables:
[global_config]
lootmoney_dropchance = 100 ; the chance of the npc to drop money. 100 = 100%
lootmoney_multiplier = 1 ; change if you want less or more money per corpse. 1 = default (~ 500 RU), 2 = double, 0.5 = half.
lootmoney_getstalkermoney = false ; instead of a random money value, you get the ammount of money that the dead npc had.
lootmoney_stash = true ; should it create random stashes?
lootmoney_stashchance = 10 ; chance of spawning a random stash. 10 = 10%. Wont work if lootmoney_stash not enabled.
lootmoney_message = true ; should it show the found money message?
lootmoney_npc_collect = true ; should npcs be able to collect money from dead stalkers? you wont be able to collect from these bodies anymore.
lootmoney_debug = false ; should it show you debug messages? (for dev only, it will fill your pda with debug informations)
[rank_money] ; here you can setup the default ammount of money that you will get per corpse for each rank. (only if lootmoney_getstalkermoney isnt enabled ofc)
novice = 25,400 ; rank = min,max. if you want more money either change these values or the lootmoney_multiplier value.
trainee = 50,400
experienced = 200,500
professional = 400,600
veteran = 400,700
expert = 500,800
master = 500,900
legend = 600,1000
How to install:
Copy and replace this mod's gamedata folder into your game's gamedata folder.
This mod actually works in 1.5R6 without a problem. You could add this to mod name(1.4.22/1.5) and description, so people who search the mods for 1.5 would know this one will work for them too.

Nice, I modified lootmoney on my computer so stalkers would drop money on a random basis instead of always dropping money no matter what, yet your addon is infinitely superior on every aspect, thank you!!

I've always liked the way that Misery 2.2 managed loot. If you play any version of CoC/CoM, you'll notice that some NPCs have TONS of loot (more especially guns), and all that loot is ready to get after this NPC dies.
Misery avoided this by putting some kind of "cap" on the amount of guns you can find on dead NPCs (this is why some players say that sometimes the FAL that the merc they just killed had in his hands suddenly vanished in thin air).
For some reason no one has ever thought on trying to port this to CoC/CoM, not even Lanforse (CoM/Dead Air main developer) bothered with it.
Im think you can change the ammount of items by NPCS, like ammo, bread, and so. Not sure about weapons. The file to edit general loot drop is gamedata/configs/misc/death_generic.ltx Pastebin.com or to edit loot drop by each faction gamedata/configs/misc/death_items_by_communities.ltx Pastebin.com (so you can make bandits drop more vodka). If you cant find it in your gamedata folder their code is up there, edit as you like.
it doesn't seem to work for me on 1.4.22, or at least i'm not getting a message saying i have picked up any money
Is there any message when you enable debug mode? If not you're doing something wrong, or theres another mod breaking something.
Comparing to the readme,the instructions are pretty confusing. The lootmoney_cfg.ltx is a lot like the readme and I can't seem to find my way to sense around the script. Could you simplify the readme or take out the extra parts of explanation in the lootmoney_cfg.ltx so it actually makes sense please?

its not working at all. i put the contents of the folder into my gamedata. i am using arsenal overhaul and it had to replace a few files. the drop chance is at 100 and no stalkers drop any money when i shoot them
did you try using this mod with no other mods installed?
do you have the 1.4.22 patch on? if yes, this will work with most mods
I am playing as monolith in 1.4.22 and installed this mod but it's not working. Do I collect the money when I start to loot? I have no other mods installed
yes when you click to loot, npcs can loot corpses too and you wont be able to get money if they do it before you.
Hey there, does this mod work the vanilla Stalker game (COP, not COC)? If not, can you make it to work? I found no such mod as of now.
Im not sure, but its probably not going to work with COP. You could try it and tell us.
It does not work, CoC has too many changes compared to Vanilla for it to work.
I tried to make it work, but I am no modder unfortunately. I and others would appreciate if you or anybody would do it for vanilla.

I was searching for mods to make the game more realistic and also more fun to play, and there I was, thinking why there isn't a mod for taking the money off of those you kill, or when scavenging corpses, and lo and behold, I've found your mod!

I recommend getting this mod when you install the game, i always had problems when it comes to buying things in this game, and this mod helps with that problem. Don't have enough money for a better gun or armor? Go shoot some stalkers and get the money you need. You could of course use the loot you get but the loot doesn't always have the guaranteed quality for traders. I really like this mod, thanks for creating the mod Renan, and keep on modding!
