I do not see the point of this, it removes one of the key character progression/strategy elements of the game
This addon was designed to play with my another addon: Traders buy damaged weapons, with those two addons, you can loot everything and sell them to the traders. I made this addon because I hate every time I have to risk my life to fight loads of army soldiers and got some really **** damaged weapons.
That's done to balance the economic system of the game (assuming there's a big surplus of weapons in the zone, like a warzone), and focus the player in artifact hunt and missions to gain money.
Like every type of cheat, it removes some key elements of the game.
Then quit bitching and don't use it. 1000kg may be excessive but it wouldn't be hard to fine-tune it to an individual player's personal preference.

I said it may work with 1.4.22 because I did nothing but changed max_weight to 1000.I might test it someday.
1000kg ? Why dude , lower it to 100 or 150 kg at least :)

Actually you can edit the value in file named 'systems.ltx'. Just search 'max_weight=' and change the number as you wish (i'd changed it to 1 million lol, glad to be cheeke breeker able to nude everything in 1 single swoop w/o restriction lmao XD).
I think this is outdated for 1.5R6 since they added that kick action ( which is not working...). and I can't find the db converter for r6, so now Im stuck with 50kg annoying
I cant get the kick to work either, nor this thing.
Been using it to adjust the weight up a bit from vanilla.
( a 1000 is a bit ridiculous tho)
