Gotta say, this mission is absolutely no fun at all. I know it fits narratively, but getting chased through a whole map by heroic Wolverines is honestly the opposite fun.

Not every mission has to be long. Remember that this is mission 2 of a campaign

First of all I want to say that I think it's awesome that you have made all of these cool campaigns for so many games and mods. It's very refreshing to see someone filling in all of the blanks and creating fun little scenarios for folks to enjoy in singleplayer.

I do have a couple notes of criticism on this campaign:
-Ashes to Ashes: the mapping for the canyons feels like several corridors that have been placed side to side, so that the gameplay can exist, while this works for the intended purpose, it makes the map feel artificial. I think it's a cool idea to casually browse pictures from natural environments around the world, to get some ideas for a map that can look natural and visually engaging, while also fitting the necessities of the gameplay. There are many interesting places out there, that could even inspire some cool new ideas for you.
-The World of Tomorrow: on the note of the mission being "too short", I understand that this is the beginning of the campaign, but personally I think the Militia fold a bit too easily, this is Nod that we are talking about after all, guerilla fighters, they didn't fall when GDI's tanks and walkers came, and they wouldn't fall that easily now, either. I don't know what kind of assets are available to you, but maybe you could place some minefields around the town, that would have to be scouted with recon bikes, maybe Marcion's followers have to survive some kind of ambush by Nod guerillas, you know, some Nod tactics. This would also serve to further distinguish the differences between "the Nod of old" and Marcion's ideas, and push the narrative that this is the way forward.

While I appreciate your well-constructed criticisms, I have to disagree.

Ashes to Ashes: The focus is trying to get away from the monstrous Steel Talons onslaught. The caves and canyons are there choke you and limit where you can go because, if you stay out in the open or hesitate, ST will hunt you down and slaughter you. While it may not be natural, it's not intended to be. The environment serves the severe situation.

The World of Tomorrow: The purpose of this mission is to show the Black Hand transitioning into what they become in KW. Marcion came out of nowhere to enforce a new doctrine that the world has not seen before. Therefore, no enemies of him know how to deal with the new Black Hand...yet. The new Black Hand are fast, aggressive and stop at nothing to obtain victory. They also want to be known and feared. A long mission would be a detriment to getting this point across because such aggressiveness could not be maintained for long. You'll also see in the intro that the Nod enemy had to rush into garrisons, they were not fully prepared to have to fight, especially against a force they have no idea about.

Don't worry, I know what I am doing and the two remaining missions will be longer. Thank you for your feedback
