Ion Ingram for Ion Fury
Nearly a year after my first mod for Ion Fury, I felt the urge to dive into modding again with yet another SMG replacer. Featuring a funky new reload animation that I had originally prototyped for my Ion Uzi (but I couldn’t get it to work properly at the time) plus optional addons you can customise. Also had a brief play around with coding (and by that I mean changing a few numbers randomly until the end result turned out how I wanted haha).
Installation
1. Extract the contents of this package to your Ion Fury installation folder (eg, D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Ion Fury). You should now have 4 folders in the main Ion Fury directory:
- ioningram
- sounds
- voxels
- scripts
2. STEAM USERS: Right click on the Ion Fury icon in your Steam library, in the GENERAL tab click on SET LAUNCH OPTIONS..., copy and paste the following line -mh ioningram\ioningram.def in the text box and press OK.
2. GOG USERS: Create a shortcut to the game application, right click it, select Properties and add the parameters -mh ioningram\ioningram.def to the start-up after the quotation marks, so it should read like this: Fury_nodrm.exe” -mh ioningram\ioningram.def
Also note that if you don’t like the sounds but want to keep the sprite, simply delete the files sounds\weapons\smg\smg_fire.ogg and sounds\impact\projectiles\lavanail_flesh.ogg.
3. If running normal Ion Fury (1.02a) then you don’t need to do anything. If running the public test build (1.1 at the time of writing) you’ll need to navigate to the Ion Fury\scripts folder, either delete or change weapons.con to something else, and rename weapons(publicbeta).con to weapons.con.
Optional addons
I have included some optional addons for the Ion Ingram. These are found in the Addons folder and include the following options:
Hologram Sight
Laser Sight
Hologram + Laser (default choice)
No Addons
Simply copy these files and paste them in the ioningram\tiles folder.
Uninstallation
To remove this mod, simply delete the ioningram folder, and these 5 files:

btw I messed up as I was using the public test build and gave no thought to the default game. It's been fixed now.

(Note: the public test build doesn't cause any script errors if running the 1.02a weapons.con, although I wouldn't recommend it as I don't know exactly what changes it will have down the line).
Congratulation for this weapon mod, the model is great ! It's really Badass.
I have a sugestion : As you made several option available for it for the sight, I recommend having this model with a straight aiming version too, not only gangsta on the side. I prefer a regular aiming overall but anyway these Ingrams looks so sharp I am not too mad about the gangsta holding.
That is a good idea! I chose the sideways style so the action was clearly visible, and also give some more viewing area for the player. Can't make any promises, but hopefully one day I can come back to this and have the option for her to hold it regularly.
