Goals of this Modification:
- No longer will your character be a genius and know every-single detail about every-single Item in the Zone. Instead he will observe items utilizing his 6(?) senses and rational thought.
- Conversations on BOTH sides will be more interesting.
- To eventually release "Flavors" for this modifications for both Dead Air and Anomaly.
Currently working on:
- Items, equipment, and food descriptions. (50%)
Examples:
Bread: Delicious, soft and flaky bread wrapped in newspaper. It reminds me of home and better times. The smell is intoxicating in the mornings when the shops make it. Cheap and decently filling, just gotta make sure I grab some water to help wash it down. (The actor uses his sense of smell, gives you an idea where the bread is made, comments on the price and how well it will feed him, then adds some realism to the fact that eating bread makes you thirsty)
Cannabis Joint: I could use one of these to help deal with the fucking stress of this place. A single poorly rolled joint.. won't last long. I overheard some Stalkers talking around a campfire that smoking cannabis or tobacco can prevent some of the creatures in this place from fucking with your mind. Crazy. (As you read, the actor had no idea that smoking help protect your mind, instead he overheard others talking about it.
Anti-radiation drugs: According to the label it reads,"This drug induces contraction of peripheral blood vessels and oxygen deprivation, which serve to treat and prevent radiation exposure. USAGE: 2 tablets by oral consumption after eating food. SIDE EFFECTS: Dizziness, Nausea, Stomach pain or cramping, Diarrhea, Dehydration, and Acute Perspiration. (Your actor is NOT A MEDICAL EXPERT. Instead he will do the more human thing and read the label and instructions.)
Grilled Snork Hand: Fuck I can't eat this..can I? I mean this shit it mutated man. Smells good though, like veal. Damn, what the fuck is happening to me. (Your actor is disturbed by the though of cannibalism)
Handmade Detector: Looks like a handmade detector. Not sure sure if this is really going to work at all.. Might want to look for something better because this looks like it's going to fall apart any minute. From what I can tell it gives out increasing louder static as you approach an anomaly. (Your actor doesn't know how to use these items perfectly but can get an idea.)
Pack of old meat: Gross, just the smell alone makes me want to vomit. Seems to be a small package of moldy meat and bread contained in a sack. I don't need to eat this right? (Disgusted by the food)
Skorpion: A 'Skorpion' I think they call it. A small Russian sub-machine gun. It's light and easy to carry around. Would be excellent to use in close quarters combat and if needed it has a small fold-able stock if I need to stabilize it against my shoulder to engage further targets. (Looks at the features of the gun and mentions its usefulness.)
Industrial Grease: A few ounces of strong smelling heavy grease in a thick plastic container. I can use this to keep my weapons lubricated and functional as well as to coat my knife to prevent rust.
Pistol Toolkit: A small metal toolbox containing a few old tools specifically designed for low caliber weapons. Better make sure I leave this at camp, its a little heavy and makes a lot of noise when carried around. (Comments on weight and noise realistically)

Small updaye on progress here. Unfortunatly my home has been without power due to lightning most of the day. The good news is i will be free friday saturday and sunday. So you can expect progress then. Please feel free to leave ideas hete or PM me.
MRE- Shouldnt be this packed with crayons ?, I hope this is good menu last time it tasted like something rotten. Nothing is better than obstipation in the zone and MRE helps it alot, Imagine me talking to medic and asking him about laxative for it.
Beards Tea - Is it even tea and is it even drinkable ? I know that its the most famous zone produced **** but can I trust others ? Like last time when somebody told me that eating that meat is completely ok and it is out of the zone. End up I was eating snork hand like some cannibal. Anyway I am almost half dead so it doesent matter if I drink this tea or not.
Ak 47 - So this is the famous AK that is know for taking part of every major conflicts of the 20th century ? Well for the first sight it is pretty decent gun well I dont have that feeling like with western rifles that it is gonna break if I slip. Well I just hope thats its not gonna be me who´s gonna take these bullets because man this ammunition is something else man. 7,62 is the callibre you want. Well you dont shoot as much precisely as with wester rifle but trust me every stalker in the zone knows the sound of classic AK and everybody is afraid from it. So even if you cant even hit door to barn trust in time you will empty you magazine there will be no enemies nearby. Well expect for mutants they dont take a **** on sound actually this gun attracts mutants so you better be ready for it.

Haha, yeah well while some of the descriptions in the game won't cover actual mechanics it at least gives it immersion and the player something to think about.

UPDATE: Sorry for the late 'update', Seems I got a little sick this weekend so that has slowed me down a bit. I am doing my best to release the next update today! You may see quite a few question marks on this next update but no worries as I will have a hotfix afterwards! See you soon stalkers.
I think this is an excellent idea, it might be a small thing for some but it really adds a lot to the experience, don't give up on this.

UPDATE: I'm really sorry with the incredibly slow updates. I've been working overtime at my job as my family is in a bit of a financial crisis. 6 Days a week 10-12 hours a day. I won't give up on this but request that you please be patient with me, thank you.
If you need help, I will be more than glad to contribute towards the effort. It's an idea that can't be worked on by one person alone considering the massive size of the game's translation files.
The curses don't seem so fitting to me. I'm all for them if it's used in a way that effectively conveys the emotions but some of the ***** and ***** just seem to be in there to make it sounds "Gritty" but failing. Here is a rough example if you wanted to tweak some of them.
Old meat - 'Looks gross and smells worse. Relatively filling but is most certainly going to make my stomach feel like ****. Maybe I could sell it for something better.'
An important thing for a mod like this is to make the summaries of items seem applicable to any stalker with any experience. For example a veteran or legendary stalker would know the creatures that control your brain are called controllers and wouldn't add in that extra crazy part since they have likely dealt with them before. And alternatively a rookie shouldn't sound too experienced with dealing with controllers and etc. Just some of my own opinions if you ever update this mod.
