Hello, Eyes On Petra. Play all modes in a mystical landscape with some Oriental flavor, there are some caves and a complex rocks design and lighting. it`s a big map for 16 players and there is a small jump challenge if you want to get up for a sniper position. Increase your Digital Vibrance to about 35 % should look even better.(nvidia or ati panel) enjoy and have fun with this one :) the map goes in documents/my games/far cry 2/user maps

Um yeah Ive got to agree with f0u, this is just...beyond words.
The last lamp on the left in the main building is hanging in the air, it needs a 90° turn. Everything else is perfect.

Nice work on the facade, and the map in general.
If this wasn't supposed to be a Petra map, I would say it is excellent, but i was a bit disappointed by the lack of similarities to the real thing.
The surrounding landscape, interior and exterior of the Treasury are not very Petra-esque at all.
The facade, though impressive, is not to scale, and doesn't closely resemble the real thing.
It may seem as though I'm poo-pooing on your map, but I actually gave it an 8. It's a great map, but it doesn't really resemble what it's supposed to.
Anyhoo, I only bother to criticize maps that show potential, and with a few revisions, methinks it could quite easily become an undisputed 9, or maybe even a 10.

thanks ,about the original place and scale,i used pictures to build this map and this was my first map with the editor so i know i could build it a lot better in scale and build the map with a lot more of similarities to the original place.
Nice job on the map i actualy am atempting a petra map since it is such a spatakuler place. but i have to agree it dosen't look like the actaul place the building resembles it but not to it but i kno thats hard. so with my map it has the entrence then tresery then some out lining buildings with the tombs as a giant fort. pls forgive me for my spelling

o im making mine on ps3 so i don't kno about you guys and i thought i was the only one with this idea:P Besides ive the one whos been to petra lol. well ya ill forward images when im done,but im redoing the tresury but i have done the collosium.
hmm i never been to petra,and that`s the downside of this map,i found some pictures but being there can make a whole lot.
