Honestly, that is a very good idea, unfortunately i won't be able to do such mod, however i suspect something like that could be possible, it would "just" require someone to rewrite the hud or crate a new one like the one in body health system.

Struggling to set up mods together with boomsticks and sharp sticks for quite some time seeing to much conflicts until i found a mod pack called anomaly expedition from jdud. That fixed it but there was no hud for (realistic purposes understandably). But im not use to it yet so i use sidehud, old dog, and vodis mods but all of them are 1.5.1 and would not work because of it until i found this mod which works perfectly solving my current problem. Thank you for making this hope it wasn't to much trouble.
