HUD Reworked and Extras 2.0

This mod is a remake of the original "DynamicHUD" by Rulix.
It also contains a modified version of "DynamicHelmets" by
Mechanic, Shoker, and Antnigm.
Except the hit_effect() and shoot_effect() functions which
contains only minor modifications, everything has been
written from scratch.
The textures used for the helmets/gasmask are based on the
work of FlyingDebris.
Since some people had crashes when trying to merge this
mod with Atmosfear3, I've decided to release it as well.
IMPORTANT:
The mod has been developped and tested on 16/9 screen only,
and the 4/3 version of some files are just copies of the
16/9 ones.
Feel free to adapt their 16/9 counterpart for 4/3 screen and
contact me to see your name added to the credit list :)
Features:
- no more intrusive HUD; only ammunition type is shown
(see "optional" folder for variants)
- breathing sounds: you will hear the actor breathing in
different kind of situations; when he wears a gasmask,
when he's running, when he's getting hit hard, and, of
course, at low stamina levels. I've tried to make the
breathing as natural as possible, including variation
of its speed/volume.
- bleeding screen edge indicators.
- radiation sound indicators and little visual effects
on high radiation levels.
- automaticaly hide weapon and/or remove gasmask on some
item usage, plus other special effects (see below)
- basic medkit usage incapacitates the actor for about 10s.
This is to show you how you can play with item using
effects, but don't abuse of effects to avoid overlapping
when using several item at the same time.
- Weapon's recoil effects.
Notes for modders/scripters:
The actor_effects_data.script file contains three tables:
- "options" which let you tweak the helmet/breath part.
- "wpn_fx" containing data used by the recoil effects.
- "item_fx" containing sequences of action "played" on
item usage.
The "wpn_fx" table is still a work in progress but you
should be aware that the total recoil amount depends on:
- the ratio (installed cam_dispersion upgrades) / (weapon
cam_dispersion)
Note: the upgrade must have the "prop_recoil" property
and define the "cam_dispersion" value.
- the "impair" ammo coef.
- the player aiming or not. See "k_aim" at the begining of
the wpn_fx table.
IF YOU WANT TO DISABLE THE SHOOT EFFECT, JUST COMMENT OUT
THE CALL TO "ammo_check()" IN THE "update()" FUNCTION
(LINE 34) OF "scripts\actor_effects.script".
I highly recommend to use actor_effects.use_weapon(0) and
actor_effects.use_weapon(1) instead of db.actor:hide_weapon()
and db.actor:restore_weapon(), respectively.

Is there a way to remove the ammo icon so that I can have a completely empty hud?
Yes, you have two options:
Go to Main Menu > Options > Game, and uncheck the "Show Interface" box.
Or open console with tilde "~" and type: hud_draw off .
I would like to keep the bleeding effects and hunger notifications. Both of the methods you described disable them. What should I edit in the mod files so that just the ammo icon in the bottom right corner goes away?

The "nohud" Patch is not working in my version.
When i install it, i still have the ammo icon without information and the minimap.

No, it is not compatible, but I am trying to convert it to CoC, if I get it working I will upload it as a CoC "addon".

Is there a way to disable the losing consciousness effect after using medkits -- or even better, just make it a quick "brown out" (just the intro and outro effects, without black space in between leaving you vulnerable...), perhaps with commenting out a section or two in actor_effects_data.script?

I just installed cop for the first time and got this mod along with AO3.1,AN3, and AF3 (mentioned).
What I like:
-minimalistic design (of course).
-animations/effects! +10 for immersion.
-good set of options to choose from.
-creator's passion and effort.
What I don't like:
-actor sounds, so far I removed them all, im sure the gas on/off is cool (will test it along with gas breath when I get a mask).
-Medkits take really long time, how can I edit it? I don't mind the animation, its pretty cool. But 10seconds??
Suggestions, please:
-have an option to have the ammo type displayed in txt only (eg.9x18mm) I think it's more cleaner and immersive as you actually think of ammo names rather than pictures/icons.
-have an option to show/hide mask. I'm really afraid about this one, as I think masks and helmet are going to be worn most of the time and I don't feel it's gona be good looking through them all the time.
Definitely will stick with it for my first playthrough!
Btw, do condition icons(eg high radiation, hunger,..) appear?
I forget to mention the stereo audio feature! that is AMAZING!
after playing the game for sometime now i can say that I like the helmet effects, make you feel like you really wearing them, so when u don't need them you take them out for better clarity. The breath sound is excellent!
Having the option to cancel out the sound on some helmets is very much appreciated.
P.S I made a small modification for the medkit with no black out.

hmm some items like energy drink and antirad don't have animation? could you please tell me how to add them to the script? I can create the the events sequence just like the bandages but how to name/define the missing itmes inside actor_effects_data?

Very easy. You can do it by edit actor_effects_data.script in scripts folder. You should change code inside medkit = {...} look like the code inside bandage = {...}.

Is there a way to disable the mask overlay and breathing when one is equipped. Deleting the mod files themselves crashed my game when equipping a SEVA suit I'm not sure what else to do. I really, really don't want to restart so if you could help me with a solution that would be greatly appreciated.

i found out the Ammo + Health + Stamina + Magazine doesnt work properly,as it didnt show the magazine numbers on the hud,so i fixed it myself and heres a fix for it,hope you enjoy :) Mediafire.com

hello you did a wonderful job and im happy you made this BUT!! theres one single problem the only way i can play with this wonderful mod is if i start whole new game i love stalker and all but i still havent even finished it i just wante to upgrade it a bit is there a fix?
