This is a complete/modified version of the previously released Hot Skies addon.

This addon adds 2 dynamic campaigns to the game: 1) as a pilot of II/JG2 on the Western Front, 2) as a pilot of II/JG4 on the Eastern Front in 1941-1943 and Western Front in 1943-1945. Absolutely does not require the installation of any additional aircraft, maps or mods!
Created on game version 4.09, but suitable for any version of the game from IL-2 1.22 to 4.13...
Main differences from the previous version:
1) The camouflage of Hurricanes and Spitfires on the Western Front has been changed.
2) The capabilities of the Hurricane IIb in 1941 and the Spitfire IX in 1942-43 were expanded. the ability to carry out bombing strikes against ground targets.
3) The “range” of missions in France in 1941-1943 has been expanded.
4) The “Visual_effects_new_add-on” addition has been added to the archive, improving visual effects. Installation is optional.
Installation - unpack Hot skies - full version.zip into the root directory of the game, activate the mod via the JSGME.exe file.

The mod works as stated. It became more interesting to fly, there were fewer free hunting flights, more to cover the area, protect airfields, etc. It became somewhat more difficult to fight with RAF aircraft, but more interesting. So in one of the sorties of our 8-ke Fw-190A4, 20 Spitfires V and Spitfieres IX were opposed, 4 of them carried bombs, the rest covered them. Also pleased with the new skins and effects.The only negative is that from 1941 to 1944 all the actions take place on the Normandy map. Although it may be a pole, I don't know - no other maps need to be installed. I hope there will be a development of this mod, but with new maps. Many thanks to the author for this mod!
