This is a remix of Galang. It has less ammo and
different item placement. Also, some minor bugfixes were made.

Small, tourney map for fast and furious duels.
I focused on gameplay, item balance, etc. The look was not so much important to me so the map isn't stunning in terms of visuals. But it is good enough IMHO. Looks almost like Raven/Id levels, but (hopefully) plays a lot better. Also, it has got lower system requirements :)

Installation

Unzip the content of l4dm1.zip to your Quake4q4base folder. To start a listen server go into the console (ctrl+alt+~), type "si_map mp/l4dm1a" [enter] and then "serverMapRestart" [enter] ...or just find the level on the maplist and hit "Create Server" button :)

- removed a lot of ramps
- cut a hole below "MH ramp"
- simplified "MH ramp"
- moved some walls to improve the flow

- added a ledge between the highest floor and the MH area
- added some walls to eliminate camping spots (and to make a whole map more balanced)
- removed YA (was in current RL location)
- removed some health packs, spawn points and armor shards
- mixed placement of weapons and items
- brightened up the ambient light

- added new room (this one with an acceleration pad)
- GL, one teleport destination, teleport, some ammo and health pack moved to this new room
- removed the room where RA had been
- RA moved to place where RL had been (lower one)
- one RL removed, second RL moved to old RG place
- removed one hallway and added another - from
the lowest floor directly to MH
- removed some columns, changed some brushwork
- added some rounded corners ("Volvo style" changed to "VW New Beetle style" ;))
- switched HB with YA, moved RG to old GL location, changed teleport destinations
- fixed "black holes" issue
- changed skybox to save my bandwidth ;) old one will probably return in final version
- created some new bugs (I'm guessing)
Beta 1:
Known issues:
- "black holes" flashes in some corners of the map (maybe it is fault of my video card)
- I forgot to add few textures of lamps, so there
are places lightened by an invisible light source
- I know it's blocky, dumb and "Volvo" style - that was intended :P
- I forgot the rest... ;)
