This download is a mappack containing most (if not all) the unofficial skirmish maps made for Rise of Legends for both single and multi player.
Hey,
I decided to make a fanmade map pack for Rise of Legends, so anyone can download them all at once without much trouble.
Only one of these maps was made by me, full credit was given to the original creators of each map.
I didn't change any of the maps per-se, but did make alterations to the maps names/IDs/etc so that they would be
easier to find in the quick-battle menu, and would stay close to the original maps that they're related to.
Description:
13 maps total.8 are working maps (one of which is a short 5-minute "campaign" map).
3 are demo maps that WON'T work on the full game. (no changes made in the files)
2 are maps that I couldn't get them to work on my game, but maybe someone else can. (no changes made in the files)The total size is 26 MB unzipped.
Instructions:
To use the maps just extract the zip file, select the .map files and drag them or copy
them into your "...\My Documents\My Games\Rise of Legends\custom maps" OR your
"...\Rise of Legends\maps" ( i usually prefer the latter)
and you should be able to select them at the Quick Battle menu.

Devilloc said that Chaoskoski Blood and Conflict don't work, for me the maps:

...don't work. So who knows, maybe different computer types, patch issues, etc will result in different results for each person.
Yeah, I found it strange that I couldn't get either Conflict or Chaoskoski Blood to work... Good to know you got one of them working for you, maybe other people will too.
Could you do me a favour when you have some free time? Load up Volcanic Battlegrounds and see if you can attack the neutral agressive creatures (lava spiders, fire golems, etc) because I can't. I actually tried adding some neutral agressive creatures to other maps and I got the same result... I find it strange that the game itself wouldn't allow you to do so, so maybe both I and the original map creator are doing something wrong in the process.
Conflict is a weird map, in general there are a few good fan made maps. I tried Volcanic Battlegrounds and I was able to attack the gray neutral sites, but the hostile fire creatures all over the map seemed powerful and chased my units all over the map.
I don't know why you have that problem, it could be anything such as computer setup, patch issues, etc. You could always try a fresh reinstall. The dvd version of Rol contains the patches so there's no need to do any manual patching.
I can attack the gray neutral sites, it's just the hostile creatures that I can't, it literally tells me "you can't attack that". I'll try to figure out why.
