Have you ever wanted an exo without the standard helmet & that annoying reflective light in the middle?
Just add a helmet or gas mask & that pesky texture is no more.
This addon removes the standard exo helmet & allows you to be free to choose whatever headwear you wish to use for all factions, every the artefact space is now available after upgrades (why not it's a waste not to use all of the 5 spaces).

Update 2.0 is for Anomaly 1.5 BETA onwards exolight outfits are now included along with worn & bad versions.
There are 2 duplicate files of "outfit_exoskeleton" within the file system this may be because Anomaly 1.5 is still in the testing stage make sure you replace/overwrite both files.
we are still stuck with the exo HUD texture until you wear a helmet so unless someone can enlighten me on how to get rid of it without crashing the games algorithm or the Anomaly dev's nerf it in an update we are stuck with this texture for now.

For the artifact slot feature, is it available for all exo suits?
Anomalous bread Ha! Ha! Ha! I came across some of that once just outside rookie village.
Just the standard ones after full upgrades, not the prototype or light exo's.
Why there are so many files in this ? i Get that all the exo suits are modded but why there are so many other armors in there ? Are they modded too ?
An amended 1.4.0 Exoskeleton Helmet Protection Fix is included & the other files are upgrade files which are included in the config folder.
This is an updated version with the arm textures mostly on the merc exo fixed getting rid of the original exo mask hud while not wearing any head wear is still a mystery however.
Well, a great idea, i was always annoyed with those fixed helmets, but will it work with savegames ?
It should do I tested it on a saved game & it seemed to work ok at Dead City.

There is no need to have the apostrophe between the o and the s. Just write it "Exos". Thanks for the very nice mod. : - )
I am not sure but I think that this addon affects durability of exo armor, because they get destroyed as fast as scientific suits or Ghilie suit.
It has the same values & immunities as the SKAT outfits, all outfits are vulnerable to damage in vanilla using artifacts like jellyfish improve damage control.
I think that you should check the numbers, because I noticed that exo's have less durability then the Merc outfit.
Yeah, I was playing without this, and no joke, I had just gotten a merc suit and upgraded fully, and fought 20+ monoliths, not having scratched the suit at all. Two minutes into testing and I found out that one or two rounds from a 5.45 AK can shred the exo skeleton to the point where the armor is so bad that the next few rounds will kill you.

Make it please for all armor, like seva and heavy suits.
I might do it for the exo light/heavy outfits but I won't change the SEVA or SSP 99 because they are protection from contamination outfits.
Make it at least for heavy non exo suit pls.

This lowers exoskeleton durability to the point that it is useless.
These are steam screenshots, the one is after 2 rounds from an ak-74, the second is with less than 6 rounds in. The third is after taking a short burst from an L85A2.

The first two were normal loner Exos, the third was my custom Exo, they both had full condition at the start.
The values of the exo helmet have been subtracted try using an M40 or one of the Sphere helmets to increase protection values upgrades also increase durability.

Great addon it makes the exos feel realistic like industrial tools not goofy larp sci fi war outfits. You can make the DDS files for the dinamic_hud exo helms transparent so when you aren't wearing a helmet you don't have to see the interface. I am not sure how to remove the breathing sound from the outfit, though. Please do the light and protype exos as well!
I am going to start work on a version for 1.5 BETA soon & will include light exo versions the prototypes don't have helmets? I have tried to make the HUD transparent when no helmet is worn with exo's but the DDS files are to temperamental & always crashed when altered.

The Ghille like the ecologist protection outfits are specifically one piece outfits if you want to improve it's values try increasing the value of the "artefact_count" in the outfit file so you can wear more artefact containers to increase protection.
For the 2.3 BETA delete the file inside the "misc" folder you only need the outfits folder.

Yes just overwrite the gamedata files (save a copy first).

No because the NV system is different in the 1.5 BETA this version also includes exolight outfits.

This mod is compatible with More Equipment+ ? Just after installing the addon section head on exo without is still closed for other helmets.
I've never tried it with the "more equipment" addon it looks like there could be a conflict with the ui texture files.
