Model description: PADMAN is a comic character from the german artist ENTE (Andreas Endres)
and he is the "meanest gamer in the world", at least in "PSG", which used to be called
"Playstation Games" magazine. PADMAN presents himself as the heroic PlayStation defender in "PSG".
No matter if it´s Mario Brothers or Sonic, PADMAN eliminates all competitors without batting
an eyelid (does he have any?...hm..). Even creatures of his own kind are not safe.
Especially he´s out to get those little, cuddly, soft-hearted sissies, like "Croc" and "Spyro".
Don´t need to mention the "Teletubbys" or "Pokemons" here.. ;) PADMAN doesn´t have any friends.
Only PadGirl causes him to be cautious. Well, he is just a man afterall..heheh..
The Pad-Maps from ENTE are some of the most popular q3 fun maps and it was just a matter of
time that the name patron of the Pad-Maps found his virtual alter ego!!
Other Info: With the PADMAN Model you get some more crazy sounds, but to hear all of these,
you must bind it on your keys..! First open your console in the game and then write;
/bind i "play sound/player/padman/hehe1.wav"
"i" is whatever key you want, and for the other sounds you must make other key bindings.

* Construction *
Poly Count : LOD 1: 1194 .. the mask (42polys) and cape (50polys) have a cullnone
: shader which will render both sides and make the model 1286 in-game.
: Bear in mind, the model was made by an artist, for an artist, for free,
: and we both appreciate a little extra detail. It took a few extra
: polygons to make the smooth look of the cartoon character.
: 10 bots with The 512x512 skins runs fine on a p2-266 so I see no point
: in doing LODs for this model.
Base : Made by Tone. Used the head from Arndt's model. Thankyou Arndt!

Editor used : 3D Studio, Pop_n_Fresh's Max to MD3 Exporter, NPherno's NMD3Compile.
Build/Animation time : We made sure everything was done well before we released the model, so
: you can imagine two people sharing the development of the model from
: opposite sides of the planet, it took a lot of time for sending
: things off to be tested and waiting for a response as to wether or not
: something needed to be changed.. so, that took about 10-12 weeks.
