At the onset of the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY, the SpecForces Pathfinders were committed to a ground assault on the Forest Moon to bring down the Deflector Shield Generator protecting the Death Star. This operation was led by General Han Solo, Leia Organa and Luke Skywalker. The elite Rebel platoons were specialized in guerilla warfare and stealth tactics. For more relevant information pertaining to the events and details of this battle, please visit the Wookiepedia site.
The first phase features a primary objective of capturing the area outside the bunker before the 501st arrives. This task, although not initially difficult, leads to branching secondary objectives that can present serious obstacles. Reading all hints and dialogue is highly recommended as there are significant rewards to completing these side objectives, including reinforcements.
The second phase features the same portion of the map, following the capture of the bunker and command post. After a brief respite, the 501st arrives to crush your squads of rebels. Unlike the ones in the film, the 501st Stormtroopers here are battle hardened and relentless. They will not stop the assault of infantry, light tanks, and walkers for anything. However, that is the trap the rebels have sprung. If you command your troops effectively, manning the turret positions, suppressing the angles of attack, while strategically placing your rocket equipped troopers, you should have no problems decimating the haughty Imperial legions.
After General Solo and Leia Organa arrive with the Endor Strike team, a new mission rapidly presents itself for you and your squad. The Imperial Navy garrison commander, Maj. Hewex has escaped the bunker and the key codes to the Deflector Shield along with him. To prevent many Alliance pilots from dying valiantly in the Space battle up above, you must find the Maj. and steal him back for Solo’s team to bypass the mainframe computer. His supply camp, deep in the forest, is heavily guarded as the Navy begins evacuation of the Moon. This will be the most difficult mission yet, and there are less cues as to the best way to proceed. You are on your own with a couple squads of volunteers, no reinforcements, and the Evil Empire still has a few tricks up its sleeve…

Thank you for downloading the first of what I hope to be a multi-Missions pack. All credit for the map design and creation goes to victor639514 . Special thanks to wargamer0905 for playtesting. I am a scripter, and although I can add assets to existing maps, I do not make the maps originally. Due to the length of time it takes to script and test this style of ‘Cinematic Missions’ I reserve the judgement to script what I would like to work on and on my own time. In case of any bugs, please post to the comments. Many thanks and carry on the good fight!
