In need of a hand cannon? No problem, you got one! Slot 2, sometimes spawns instead of the shotgun.
When it comes to heavier, more powerful pistols, not everyone's into revolvers... Well now you've got a solution! A Desert Eagle is probably exactly what you need!
How does it work?
The Deagle is a slower, more powerful pistol. It's surprisingly accurate and can deal quite a bit of damage.
It holds 7+1 bullets, and when reloading each deagle bullet will cost you 3 9mm bullets (24 for a full 7+1 reload).
The deagle shares the same role as my revolver. However, this gun fires faster and has a bigger magazine, but deals less damage per shot and is not perfectly accurate.
It only has a very accurate primary fire, and that's all.
How to get it?
It sometimes spawns instead of a shotgun, so look out for it. If you're impatient, you can type "summon DeagleSpawner" or "summon BrutalDeagle" in the console.
How to load it?
Unzip it and just throw it into your mod order after Brutal Doom. That should make it work.
uhhhhhhhhhh compability and permissions
This addon replaces Brutal Doom's shotgun spawner, so any other addons that add guns that spawn instead of a shotgun might not work properly and will require patches (Like my revolver or the M45 shotgun).
The gun was made and intended to be used with Brutal Doom. Compability is guaranteed only with vanilla Brutal Doom and with my personalized addon.

-The deagles can now be dual wielded properly if you have a berserk. Firing dual deagles without a berserk will still cause your weapon to fly from your hands.
If you don't want that to happen, open the console and type "Give DisableDeagleToss". That will allow you to fire dual deagles even without a berserk.
DUE TO SIMPLICITY OF THIS OPTION YOU HAVE TO DO IT EVERYTIME YOU START A NEW GAME!

Why would you need ADS for an already extremely accurate gun?
It's quite hard to hit targets from a distance when playing without a crosshair + there's no alt fire and i lack other good ideas.
then, uh, use a crosshair. if I made ads i'd probably make it slam into the player's head because of recoil and permanently damage their vision lol

My suggestions are for this weapon:
1) add the option to aim with right click
2) sprites for the cannon should be larger and solid.
3) cases when ejection a bit bigger than the 9mm ones.
4) make it please to replace the revolver from bdv21.

4) I already tried that with my revolver and it'd cause issues for some, so uhhh I'd rather leave it as it is. (Plus it's not a revolver, just don't use it or pick it up.
5) I actually want to add dual wield, but the recoil will be so strong your gun will literally fly away from your hand.
You can make it inaccurate shooting from the hip and then when you aim you will get the 100% accuracy, I think you can use like a spite base of the DEAGLE from PB 3.0 and then make it in silver steel. really love this gun
The whole point of this weapon is to be an accurate, ammo saving gun, just like my revolver, so I don't really feel the need to do that...?

Great work. I added it to my custom spawner. If there was anything to improve it would be an alternative firemode where it shoots full automatic, but slower firerate, so its not overpowered.

Just commenting here to say that I modded your devastator using revenant missiles to have homing missiles and this made the weapon fun as **** to use. Perhaps I will try to edit it's sprite and get a way to have two different devastators
Nice job on that one, Also it won't really be that hard to make your version of the devastator a separate weapon. Just change its name, include it in KEYCONF and maybe include it in devastator's spawner.
I also modified that dn3d rpg to have a stronger blast, at cost of more ammo to balance, so I can kill a mancubus with one shot. There's also more care to use cuz blast area is bigger now. Wonder if you will mind if I share the change on the devastator
I have BDv21 gold on Zandronum 3.0 and your revolver with this Dezert eagle works great + a huge number of other weapons and mods, at the expense of the scope, the author is right, I play without a scope at all for all weapons, except that I have the ability to aim from a long distance from revolver doing juicy headshots)))
what about adding a laser sight as alt fire

Around a year ago, I added PB3's Deagle to my personal BD, in .357 Mag, .44 Mag, and .50 AE now I have another Deagle more to kill demons with :D

I feel like if you get a berserk pack or demonic strength rune, it should "improve" the functionality of dual wielding, since doomguy becomes so much stronger
i tried to add hold to aim to your weapon but i ****** up somehow and now when i let go of aiming i get an instant concussion.

On the bright side, the update fixed the error message spam.
On the downside, it stopped respawning / dropping from enemies LOL. Weird. The previous version is probably better for multiplayer now.
It was... never meant to be dropped by enemies in the first place. You need to load some addon that alters the shotgun spawner to get that effect.
does this work with your personalised addon? i tried it but it seemed to only give extra pistol ammo, and was not able to be used
It sure does work. Are you using any other addons besides BD and my personalized one? If so, specify them and their order.

I get a Jump target no ammo error when trying to fire dual-wielded. Even though I have plenty of ammo, it won't fire. This is on Zandronum.
