Description

This is the Doom64 Unmaker converted for your brutal pleasure, along with the FeelBossMK2 version! This has all sorts of new things! The details are in the readme file. All im gonna say is use this wisely...as this...is HIGHLY powered. BD now has an alt fire, and PB has something special. Enjoy!

I know, it's kinda early to ask this. But if you do make a subsequent release that's compatible with PB, will it replace the demon tech rifle, or will it just be added along side it? Just a thought.

oh i will ;) but im deciding on either an upgrade like the triple minigun, or have it be a random spawn of the tech rifle when dropped by the zombie/spawn placement, and for regular BD have it randomly spawn with the BFG. Along with making a secondary fire to the weapon where it uses 3 bolts like the original unmaker when you collect all of the demon keys for every version i make this weapon to! However BD doesnt really HAVE those keys...and i dont know how to make that a secondary fire ;~; hense this being an upgrade/relatable weapon to the demon tech rifle, this weapons special fire could be deadbus slime or some other energy, i might make a pole on what to do! (for anyone else reading this comment what you think it should all have/be!!)

Wow!! This is pretty effin' sweet, man. Love the sound effects you've added to the weapon. Kick and quick-melee sprites work like a charm. I haven't tried throwing grenades or mines yet, but I won't leave em' out. Nice work. :D

oh D3athstalker helped a LOT too! However thanks a bunch man! if anything seems wrong (to me it seems awesome) just tell me and i'll see into it! :) Also if you notice how the beam mode turns orange thats normal!!

Cuddos to you both! So far, everything checks out. No bugs or errors. But I will let you know if any do occur. Yeah, the weapon special on secondary fire is epic. Obliterates any of the weak monsters within its proximity. Now that's something awesome to have in your arsenal.

what do you suggest? i do plan on adding more frames in the future probably but for now this is just seeing if it works for everyone else as this is a raw ripped weapon.

the only reason why they dont i think is because of the damage amount and the trajectory of the lazer, otherwise they should gib almost every time, in GZDoom64 with BD ran over it that happens at a constant

I think i may be used to the Eriance: Demon Eclipse version of the UnMaker which splats instantly monsters but uses dark mana as its ammo (unless you use the ki crystal which lowers the damage but gives infinite ammo)

If its just a problem with the damage that is easy to fix. Hell, if the theory is true that the stronger a weapon is the messier the gibs than it might be a good idea to buff it.

**note that this version doesnt have all of the special features like i have mentioned, this just is now able to use all the PB side weapons like the knife and such, the rest will come in future tense

Here's my review of the your unmaker addon.

Pros-
1. we can finally use the unmaker in brutal doom and project brutality!
2. The weapon is powerful but not overpowered.
3. its has good range but projectiles do less damage in long range
4.its fully automatic with a decent rate of fire.
5. demons explode in a bloody mess when you shoot them in close range.
Cons-
1.its very inaccurate with projectiles going all over the place instead of shooting in a straight line.
2. The PB version needs a secondary fire and weapon special.
3. Gibs are a bit inconsistent. sometime when I shoot demons in close they just drop dead and sometimes when i shoot them from afar they explode. This doesn't make sense . *_*

its a damn good mod but needs a bit more work. also you should replace the current unmaker model with the one used in the feel like a boss addon for BD. It looks much better.

i know i dont know why the projectile is all "janky" so to speak, in my BDGZDoom 64 build (cant release {YET POSSIBLY} for sgt mark bd64 and the similarities, mine keeps PC sprites besides maps/map textures, and enemys arent finished and other map things, along with no advanced effects and such, all original stuff) it works just fine and i ripped it directly from there...i'll work on it this weekend, and i knooooow the PB version needs that stuff, i just released this for people to test it and play around ;3 and the damage count can be raised a bit, and the trajectory issue should fix that too (so all the gibs!!) and oh yeah i'll surely make those sprites for this ;3 just keep on your toes for updates!

May I suggest some options?
-------------------------------
The current Unmaker for PB right now is fairly underwhelming as it is, the effects are nice however the firing and sounds don't give the feeling of "oomph" compared to the other weapons. I suggest a more impactful sound to give it that feel and make the laser effect a little more over the top.

For secondary fire, we have enough "beam" weapons (Railgun, Hellfire-alt, BFG Contact Laser, BFG11K) so I suggest a couple more choices.
First, changing the ammo usage to use the demonic energy rather than the cells, enough weapons use that as it is.

-An orb that floats that fires laser threads at enemies for a hefty amount of ammo cost then explodes into energy when impacts dealing a decent amount of damage.

-For a very large amount of energy, the ability to revive corpses discounting boss tier monsters, viles and completely obliterated bodies.

Of Course the effects of these weapons all need to match up with the current theme of PB, which I don't blame you is gonna be tough if you decide to implement them.

As for the "weapon special", perhaps an upgrade (Like the triple chaingun) that changes it from the basic Unmaker to a more active looking one, giving it the ability to fire three lasers instead of one.

Just thought I'd give my thoughts.

hey all feed back is appreciated! :) and i know this unmaker in general is a little offset, its a WIP as it is, i just released this as a test to see if it worked for others as it did for me and get feed back (thanks again :3) and PB will have tons of changes dont you worry, i'll make it demonic energy especially!! However the sound will stay the same as its directly from D64, maybe i'll ramp up the volume and make it more HQ :) and im thinking as an alt fire to have like a spartan demon lazer that leaves a burn radius almost like the mancubu cannon, and the enemy melts as a death, and as ive stated i'll turn the damage up a tad, and the weapon fires will go as stated -> 1. one beam 2. (alt) 3 beams 3. (special) a charged demonic attack. im thinking of possibly having this as a DTR upgrade as like the minigun. i hope that sums up any thoughts or questions and thanks for feedback!!

On another note: if you do add an upgrade as a pickup, will it be the entire weapon like most of the others? Or will it be a sole upgrade?

Hey bro i tired to use the new unmaker but its seems to have trouble loading with Zandeonum. i keep getting an error whenever i try using it on that particular source port. it works fine with GzDoom however.

Welp, project brutality does not work with older zand versions. But it does work with gzdoom 18. But I hate using gzdoom as my computer's WiFi gets f...led up if I do that.
