There once was a really big tree. It was so large that it's massive weight caused it to sink into the ground. Then some gods or giants or something came by and chopped it down for firewood. Then some vikings fell into the tree pit and could not escape. They decided to spend they're time making the gaint tree stump into a fighting arena for them to kill each other in. Once they finished they killed each other. The tree arena now sits in it's pit waiting for foolish vikings to fall into it's grasp and pit them against each other.

Notes: This is the first map I have created. There are some known problems with it, unaligned polygons on the branches, but I don't believe they are that noticable in a game. I could also not get a screenshot to be added to the map, RuneED repeatedly crashed when I tried.
The basic layout is a giant tree stump. It is situated in the center of a pit with steep walls. There are four main levels, the lower dueling room, the ground level, the tree interior fighting area, and the top of the tree stump. Each area can be reached easily by using passages and stairs. There are also two difficult climbs up the outside of the tree to get to the top level. One side is much harder than the other. The easier side has the viking broadsword and darkshield and the harder side contains the dwarven battlesword, and leads up to the bloodlust rune. The weapon placement inside the tree is spread out, with the weapons improving as you ascend. This should allow the top of the tree to be defended with better weapons and a higher elevation. The bloodlust is found on the toplevel, accessable by a small climb. The health rune is found in the lower dueling room. There are two power runes in the interior fighting area.
All starting points are located a short way up the pit wall incline, causing the players to slide a short way to the ground level. This equal starting place should make it a race to reach the top of the tree and to the better weapons.
I would recommend not using low gravity on this map. It would cause some areas to become accessable that were not intended to be. It would also make the climbing less dangerous.
