This addon allows to easily edit STALKER config files.
Adds visualization of certain properties and a simple editor for most of the common properties that
you would want to modify. A tutorial .pdf is included. If you use this for any addon creation, please leave some credits, so that it gets more reach.
This tool allows to easily edit .ltx configs for Anomaly. In current version, you can edit item properties and crafting, traders and creatures. A .pdf instruction on how to use is added in the package.

- Added "Set all to 0", "Set all to 1" and "Reset to default" to trading table
- Another fix in trading, this is getting boring

- Fixed an error, where loading gamedata would screw up item categories making filters unusable
- The categories are now read directly from the "trade_presets.ltx" file, so if you add items to the game make sure to add them to a proper category in the file!
- Also, when filtering items, be careful when selecting the categories like "trasher" and such, as they may make the app unresponsive for a while (they load a shitton of items)

- Added more broad .ltx scanning -> you no longer have to point exactly at the directory with all unpacked databases, you can point directly to "configs" directory as well

- If you want to get the proper English names for the items, you need to copy the "localization" directory into the configs directory
- Added CoP icons to the archive, you can load them by `Load icons` option in the `File` menu.
- Streamlined the code a bit, it should be working slightly faster (not that it matters, duh)
- Worsened the memory usage of the app (need to load way more .ltx files, will work on this later on)

- Ghetto-Fixed a bug with some addons when loading gamedata folder. This will be reworked properly later

1. Sorry for the large size, the library that reads the .dds files to get icons weighs a lot.

so maybe u can use just some png or jpg instead dds? really heavy-veight software as for text editor.
I will try to do it, however it is not C-based but python-based, so the distribution includes all necessary python interpreters and libraries; With my other projects I managed to get down to ~40MB, but that's the lowest I can get.
Edit: I looked into it, and I can actually lower the size. Thanks for the idea, slimmer version should be available later today
nice. anyway thx for this tool. i think its may be usable for low-skilled modders.
usable for everyone, ltx configs can be such a mess sometimes, for example there are helm_resp, helm_respirator, helm_respirator_old and u take a guess which one is which without opening game or icons ;]
I just updated the editor and lowered its size, however it will load pre-defined icons. If you added new items, you must convert the appropriate .dds files to .png files and move them to the "pics" folder

doesn't work with gamedata and Boomsticks and Sharpsticks.
It must get info on items from unpacked files, because of the dependencies. If you want to modify another addon, you should unpack the databases and then copy the contents of the gamedata folder there. I will check it, but it should work
I just updated the editor to be able to load other gamedata files. Check out the update.

thanks for this amazing editor! Quick question, you listed hit_power as recoil power for weapons and ammo. Is there a reason for this? is this param not governing damage rather than recoil (or both?)
From what i gathered, this is the recoil and not damage, but I might be wrong. I will look more into this.

It should work regardless of the update, the formatting does not change. I am testing it on 1.5, so it should be fine

For anyone with some issues or bugs, please let me know what were you doing exactly, so I can reproduce the bug and fix it. Please notify what versions of the game, what other addons were used etc.

Yes, it is in python. Why? Because that's the language I'm most familiar with, and it has Qt window control library. I probably could have done it in C or C++, but it would have taken much more time and many, many more curse words than currently.

At last, Recipe editor *proceeds to make all ammo types craftable by using only ammo parts*
edit: also, i assume the "disassembling" section is what i will get if a disassemble the item i am editing. When i change the amount i will get and them click on another item to edit and go back, the amount i edited will go back to the default, and in some items i can't edit the amount at all.
As for why you can't edit some disassembling sections: for items that can be repaired, you cannot change the amount of items, since the items that are in the "disassembly" entry, are the ones that you can swap. I removed the possibility to change that, as I am not sure how the game will react to this kind of change.
As for the bug, I will look into it now.
The bug has been fixed, it should modify the items properly now
I checked what would happen if you increased the number of disassembly parts for items and it seems to work just fine, I will add an option to remove that restriction in later releases.
Why are the "Equipment" and "Armor" sections with the same content?

Hold on, I am finishing up a small upgrade, and will further develop this to include trading, basic character changes and some options for bulk changes. Keep your eyes open, this should get updated rather frequently during this month
