Prepare for a new way to play City of Doom. 2.6 brings 5 new random starting locations! Each location will start you with the golden key and an automap. This works amazing with RogueLike Doom! Get ready for the fight of your life when you enter any of the night clubs or bars now! Each now has a mini boss and a special item. All Subway gates are now fully accessible for fast travel without any key requirement. Take them at your own risk. Lots of additional details have been added to the world as well. Prepare for fight your way all the way to the end.
Made in DOOMBUILDER under UMDF and tested on GZDOOM 4.8.2 with ZDL. Everything seemed to work fine. No issues with GZDoom straight up with the map.
This is yet another big change to the City of Doom! 5 random spawning locations with golden key and automap provided right away. Night Clubs and Bars are now challenging locations to gather powerful weapons. Be prepared for heavy resistance and a mini boss or 2!
This map has scripting issues with Brutal Doom, Duke3d Doom, Ashes 2043 and certain other ones. Still don't understand how to fix this issue.
It does work fine with plenty of other mods and even mixed and matched mods. I found PB 3.0 worked fine, RogueLike Doom, Brutal Doom 64, Trailblazer etc.

The one challenge coming with adding more and more is performance. The map can get a bit performance demanding especially if you got graphical enhancements and whatnot. I know with PB 3.0 it can get chuggy if I don't kill the hordes of monsters coming after me. I am about to release 2.7 where I did slow down the spawn duration of the Zombie Man from 30 secs up to 60 secs. I noticed it did help with the performance. I still have lot's more planned as I slowly learn Doombuilder. Let me know if there are any gamebreaking issues or anything of that sort. Thanks again and have fun!
I do have some experiments I'm planning to conduct to help optimize the performance of the map. It just takes time to get this stuff ironed out. It's so easy to break the whole thing if you're not careful. lol
