Well some of the stuff she said was horrible but whether or not she should have got fired is debatable. First thing people all ways talk about is how Pedro Pascal was saying some stuff similar to what she was saying but on the opposite spectrum. Then they say, “that is the problem.” Where I feel like the problem is that when Disney asked them BOTH to stop posting stuff like that, Pedro did and Gina didn’t. And if you are referring to her comparing right wing people to Jews in the Holocaust than yeah I can see how people would offended by that. The worst thing that happens to right wing people are they get made fun of on the internet. But think about what a large group of them have done (not saying everyone, just like...a lot of them). Storming the Capital Building to KILL our Vice President, and other high up politicians like Nancy Pelosi. At this point I wouldn’t say “where the truth is offensive” in this case. Comparing conservatives to oppressed Jews is the stupidest thing I have ever heard...and I am even kind of offended, and I am not Jewish. But again, should she have been fired? At first I thought no, but in reality this is how jobs work. Higher ups are not supposed to post stuff like that, and if they do, they get fired. No one is oppressing conservatives, if I remember correctly, the left wing President went to church with Mitch McConnel. Who is definitely not left wing. It stinks that Gina got fired (especially for Mando fans that don’t live in the U.S) but in a time like this where people are maniacs over politics, posting stuff about politics is not good idea, for honestly anyone at this point. But (this is a genuine question, not a sarcastic attack), which part did you think something she said was truth, but taken as offensive? I may have missed part of it, a lot of stuff happened very quickly lmao.
