Just downloaded this mod while currently playing through D64: Project Nightmare.
And I noticed both this mod and D64PN replace the original "bd64gamev2.pk3" file.
So I'm wondering if there's any way to make these 2 mods play nice?
Because I do enjoy the new Nightmare Cacodemons, D64 Annihilator and new Laser Gun Sprites of Project Nightmare, but I ALSO love the idea of new Revenant and Unmaker sprites in D64E as well.
Also, will a Save File carry over from PN to D64E?
If the same aspects are changed by both mods that means no. The first loaded mod would be overwritten by the next loaded mod. You would have to edit one of the mods with content from another. That's why beautifull doom cannot work with brutal doom. And no if diffrent components (like pk3) are loaded than when the game was saved it won't work.
Combining that won't be a problem, actually. I spent only 1 hour to casually rule the differences out. Had no bugs yet. Hope it stays that way.

Are the revenant sprites from Doom 2 or are they entirely a new thing???
From doom 2, there were people working on entirely new sprites based on freshly made 3d models but it all went quiet for some time now.
Yeah I know that group.Archviles,Hellhounds
For those who liked the Idea of modern Lasergun as AlphaUnmaker, but didn't find it exactly lore-friendly - I've simply combined sprites from "Extended" and "Nightmare" addons, so that it would really look like a corporate experiment on some hellish artifact. Hope it would be of some use to somebody. :-)
