Description

This is BF4 STYLE ammo distribution. Also pretty much every arcade FPS out there right now does this way of reloading weapons (in segments of bullets). Instead of throwing the whole mag worth of bullets away when you reload, you top off the count and keep the odd number of bullets, just like BF4.

Hmmm... I think this method will allow your weapon to fire while the reload animation is still playing... doesn't it? Anyways, very creative! 10/10

It's BF4 style reloading where you keep the bullets you don't shoot out of the mag.

As far as being able to shoot while reloading, some code tweaks might prevent that.🤔

Very kind of you someone3402 but you really shouldn't add me to the credits just because I helped explain it. 🙂 I have no involvement in this coding so I shouldn't be credited.

Do you know how to block firing when its reloading? Example: if a fire just 1 bullet and reload, i will be able to fire again before the animation ends.

This issue is caused by having the line with the value

ObjectTemplate.ammo.reloadTime 0.001

Set lower than the animation length in the AnimationSystem.INC files. If this system of ammo could work without having to have that reload time reduced then all would be well.

What if the number value of ...

ObjectTemplate.ammo.firstShotExtraTime 0.3

Matched the length number value of the reload found in the AnimationSystem1p.INC file?

If the first shot extra time works in delaying the shot, then some math might be necessary to figure out (reload animation time) vs (actual time it takes to fill up with bullets) = time for first shot after reload.
