Hi guys, i'm here with a new mod this mod is a port of RainboWarrioR's revolver
Only works with Bd V21 RC7 but you know i uploaded a mod named ledge climbing so i maked revolver with port but if you dont want climbing don't use .pk3 file in the folder if you want to use with ledge climbing launch with ledge climb mod and with .pk3 file in the folder. I hope you guys understand me about install information and i hope you enjoy.

this is awesome but the draw animation looks really weird. also there is no way to get it without console apparently.
no you can get it with shellbox spawner its random change. And i know draw animation i will change sprites so it wil be fixed
i noticed two bugs: when running in tactical mode if you run out of satamina and keep pressing shift the running sprite continues active and when drawing another weapon after the revolver it takes 2x as long.
also the reload animation ends with the marine moving the gun as if he was closing the cylinder even after closing it with his hand. maybe you should add in a cylinder spin or add that animation before he closes it with his hand but that's just a small detail that no one will notice but me

the alt fire dosen't alert enemies but other than that everything else is looking perfect
Yes it doesnt alert and i tried to fix. that but i cant fix it but i will try to fix this
try asking someone on the zdoom forums. someone is bound to know and maybe even give you some tips
That was pretty easy for me to spot :)
The first line of the AltFire code jumps over the first animation frame and the A_AlertMonsters call.
Just change it to "A_JumpIfInventory("RevolverAmmo",1,1)"
AltFire:
TNT1 A 0 A_JumpIfInventory("RevolverAmmo",1,2)
Goto Reload
R5V1 A 1 BRIGHT A_AlertMonsters
TNT1 A 0 A_PlaySound("revolver/fire")
...

i fixed it myself but i have no experience with doom coding so took me like and hour to change 1 number and i also noticed 2 bugs
the longer draw with the revolver is still a thing and the draw sprite for the revolver clips in the middle of the animation
and for some reason the alt fire no longer has recoil
To fix the long draw when changing weapon - find the Deselect-state and change "TNT1 A 1 A_Lower" to "TNT1 A 0 A_Lower"

i fixed desellect and select animation bug and also recoil problem is fixed i will try coding dual wield
I don't really think a dual wielding is necessary but i do think you should add in a iron sights or a melee attack using the revolver
im making a modpack and i added quick punch addon you can check whwn i. finished the modpack

Suggestion.
Its very powerful, using 1 pistol bullet per shot sounds logical, but for balance reasons it would be better if used 2 due to the raw power.
i like this addon but i wish you could due weld them (

Love the revolver but the fan fire is probably a bit slow and the fanning frames are a tad bit slow?

Heyo, this mod worked fine for awhile but now everytime I try to load it with Brutal Doom it says it's an unknown actor or something like that. Other than that awesome mod.
