An idea recently came up to me to do a compass which would replace the Minimap, to have only compass points informations and with a little size, less intrusive.

SETUP
Simply paste the "gamedata" folder into your games Anomaly directory.(yes to overwrite existed files)

OPTIONS
You can find an options folder to install :
- 01_With_Bart's_Radar_Stealth_Detection_Bars_V2.0
- 02_WITHOUT_TIME_Install_After_Bart's_Radar_Bars
- If you just want not have time appears, only install "02_W.." but if you want "Bart's radar stealth detection bars", you must install "01_With..." before.

COMPATIBILITY
Not compatible with any other addon that changes "zonemap_16".
Total compatibility with the awesome "SidHUD" if you are using it, you can install too the options.

AFTER
It is a first version, but i think to do others with maybe different textures, different size, different place on the screen...

Can you make this like a hand watch on an outfit arm ? There is one of the arms models in Anomaly Weapon Pack has a fake hand watch ? Can you replace it with this ?
I don't know, i'll see that, maybe do an update for this. What weapon pack do you mean, vanilla ?
I don't think that is possible without modify too many files...or can you make more precision on "weapon pack" you mean, what file...
More, a watch is not a compass and more less a minimap.

Hi Bart, thanks for the mod, definitely a good idea.
One piece of constructive criticism I'd have is that the first itineration looks a bit dodgy, it stands out from the rest of the game stylistically. My suggestion is something more in the tone of Autumn Aurora minimap minus the actual map and smaller, so that it looks like a toned down military compass.
To me personally, having that stealth visibility bar implemented as a small thing near the rest of the hud in the bottom left is quite important so incorporating that into your compass, as you have done, but perhaps again, in a nicer way visually, would be great.
I always felt the minimap is OP and in your face big, whereas a small compass in bottom left, with some indication of being close to detection would be much better. So well done, just improve on the visual design of it. Again AA compass element is the best I'd seen in stalker in general so far. May be worth asking permission and lifting it for RC18+.
