I dig everything except for the ADS because, in my opinion it just obscures vision.

I just wanted to help out with the ADS situation: there is a way to get around the clunky iron sights, though it's not a model change. You need to open GCFScape (common valve VPK tool to extract files, it's free), and select the files you wish to extract (in this case, SMG1_NIA_ACR, or AR2_NIA_ACR for the associated weapon). You'll see a main folder called "root". Extract the root folder anywhere, though desktop is recommended for convenience. Then, remove the "script" subfolder. This contains the information regarding ironsight placement. *This does not, in any way, break the weapon mod in its entirety.* All the information regarding sounds, ammo, etc. is handled by MMod normally. When the ACR scripts folder is removed, the mod defaults to MMod scripts, which then handles all of the weapon mod's needs. All custom sounds and animations play normally. Deleting the scripts folder, in turn, changes the ADS to the default weapon zoom found in every MMod weapon. All you need is GCFScape to extract the vpk, remove "scripts", rename the main folder to "SMG(or)AR2 ACR", drop it into custom in your directory, and you're good to go. Hope this helps!

I agree with the previous comments on a new sight, though I would add my personal caveat of having ADS be an optional addon. I personally prefer the default MMod zoom aim, mostly because animated walk cycles and turning the character seems to cause issues with exaggerated weapons sway, and also because it fits perfectly with HL2's old-school design (i.e. it resembles games where ADS wasn't actually aiming down the sights ala FEAR and others)

On another note, using a viewmodel fov higher than standard causes the shoulder to clip through the camera. This can be problematic on larger monitors/world fov.

Otherwise, this is a fantastic weapon mod! A little tweaks, and it'll be among the greats. In fact, I recommend putting this up on gamebanana for more exposure, and simply because it has a high standard of quality at its current state already. Best of luck OP, and thank you.

nice skin there mate, but it needs some polish. For example the reloading and idle animations are too fast and somewhat stiff, some tweaks there could help, to make them feel more natural.
Now this is kind of off topic, but when using the iron sights mod, aiming moves the gun to left of the screen.

Would be perfect if it wasn't made up of 3+ 2K textures and the world model wasn't the same as the view model
