AIX TNG ~ booster maps
The Battlefield 2 Boosterpacks, that are gone public with the Release of the BF2 patch 1.5, are now ready as TNG Version for the BF2 Mod AIX 2.0. As always with full Botsupport and a different Conquest Layout. All 6 Boostermaps are complete reworked and like always in TNG all Map Versions (16,32,64) are in 64 size playable, with different Nations and Vehicles. Only TNG Great Wall is in 16 size as Inf only. All you need is the Mod AIX 2.0 and the TNG 2.0 Mappack to play the TNG Boostermaps.

Can someone help me? When i installed the AIX TNG maps into the AIX2 Levels folder, and I start AIX2 up to play the maps, they load perfectly until the kit selection screen, and no kits show up on the screen. I'm able to join squads, and everything else, but i just cant spawn as i cant select kits, and when i spawn without any kit the game CTD.
Do you have 1.5?
Same thing happens to me, and yes i do have BF2 version 1.5.
You should install AIX2 TNG2 first.

Weapon kits do not appear on the screen. To the start game, I press the done button and the game is closes.
you have to have the base TNG pack before installing this pack.
Where can I find the Base TNG files?

After I enter the game in these maps,i can only see one weapon kit,and game crashes,the same problem makes the maps useless.

Great Maps.....Just DO NOT Work.....all that work to make these for AIX2 for nothing....what a waste.

All maps are working except "Operation road rage", every time i load that map it just crashes to desktop any idea?
Hi there... I wonder if this will get any reply anyways but I think I just give it a try...
I have a problem with all of this maps! When I try to load one of them the game crashs to the desktop after starting the game and before it completed to load. I tried every one of them and it really is only them.
Does somebody have an idea how to fix this? I really would like to play OP Harvest and RoadRage again because this maps are somehow missing in the normal game but also the mod (even that I have the AddOn Armored Fury) :(
I remember I loved playing them in old times and so I wished I could see them in action again.
The game/ mod (BF2, AIX2 etc.) is running just fine (more or less) as long I not choose one of the maps from this booster pack. I've downloaded and put the files inside of the AIX2 Level folder as described here.
I think I have the right version because if not I wouldn't be able to run AIX2 anyways... so there seems to be a problem with those files... but nothing I could figure out... maybe somebody knows something about it or made it to fix this problem himself. thanks for any helpful reply even that I fear I wont get any but please suprise me :D
To install properly and avoid most issues described:
Install AIX 2 core and core mappack
Add booster maps
Install TNG 1 and TNG 2 mappacks (I think people are missing this because not in instructions, a shout out to a guest post)

Plays in 1.41 and I gather 1.50 (I play in 1.41 because the AI uses the artillery on the maps, blowing a human player out of their sniping perch or slamming a control point just taken)
so 1.50 patch is not needed
(FYI I have 1.41 updated from original CD install with all purchased booster packs back in the day, don't know if they are available even online outside of patch 1.50)
Maps tend to be one size (mainly 64, though great Wall is 16) no matter what, sides: US Vs Merc, Euro Vs China or Merc Vs China change depending on map "size"
On RoadRage map
Urban housing area has no control point, so just a place to relax.
Overpass has usable artilley cannons (not sure if the AI troops use them but the player can)
I n the roadRage map for example, the density of aircraft and AI bot competence in using them means a high probability of getting blasted from the air.
