Here is your first hands on taste to the upcoming Aftermath 2.0 release. This map is still in development but is still playable. Spinders Rift is a 4 player Death Match map found through the Skirmish menu of Aftermath. This map is also featured in the Legacy Files Map Contest 2008.

DESCRIPTION

Spinders Rift

Spinders Rift consists of two parallel asteroid belts which give the
appearance of a corridor or rift. This rift at first glance may offer
safe passage for larger vessels but at same time the twin asteroid belts
offer smaller ships the upper hand in luring larger vessels closer to
the twin belts.
Spinders Rift is taken from the forthcoming Aftermath 2.0 release which
is coming very soon. Please note that Spinders Rift was made to use the
most of assets which are available only to Aftermath. Even though
Spinders Rift is made for maximum compatibility with the other mods,
the map will work best in Aftermath installs (main reason being AI).

INSTALLATION
---------------------
Installation is very simple, the folders are already set up for you
so you can extract directly into your Legacy install (no files get
replaced, only added).
Copy the files directly into your Legacy install or you can chose to
extract to the directory of your choice.
IMPORTANT!! Spinders Rift is best played using Aftermath installs of
Legacy (Stage 1, Public Beta, 1.7 or 2.0). Although maximum compatibility
has been set up, Spinders Rift will play differently in Aftermath installs
as opposed to stock and other mod versions of Legacy.
