Ports the Dead Air levels, with their textures and ambient sounds, to Call of the Zone.
Fake update v1.12 (Agroprom Underground workaround)
Install this file to replace A Breath of Dead Air's Agroprom Underground with that of Anomaly. Prevents a strange ctd that I've been unable to fix.

Fake update v1.11 (the Kruglov patch)
Install this update to move Kruglov, the Ecologist mechanic at Yantar, out of confinement.
Don't worry about him getting hurt, unless you made him mortal. He can hold his own. He has the power of SCIENCE to protect him. And a riot-gun.

Another fake update!
I just updated Dead Air Sky and Fx to v1.1. This release includes weather presets for Dead Air weather.
They go pretty well together, for obvious reasons.

Fake update!
I found that with the tonemap settings below, the visuals are softer and more pleasant. It makes everything blend together nicer.
In gamedata\appdata\user.ltx, find and change the following values:
r2_tonemap_adaptation 5.
r2_tonemap_amount 1.
r2_tonemap_lowlum 0.4
r2_tonemap_middlegray 1.
You may have to raise your contrast by one notch as well.
UPDATE:
now includes a ton of stuff I forgot. Oops. If you're updating, no need for a new game.

Does what it says in the summary, really. Dead Air has slightly edited levels with more trees and foliage and stuff. They look richer than vanilla, but they're not nearly as heavy on resources as the Anomaly levels are.
My thanks to ][][, who informed me as to how to do this thing.
!! IMPORTANT NOTICE !!
This requires a new game.
!! END OF NOTICE !!
Quick note: Dead Air employed some tricks to make players require certain equipment to get through certain areas. These tricks do not work here. No equipment requirements, no shenanigans.
Yantar in shitty weather. Notice the additional foliage. These levels look great in Sanctuary's Colder Atmosphere addon, by the way. I picked this screenshot because I know horribly cold dreary environments like this give Sanctuary warm fuzzy feelings of nostalgia. He's an odd boy.
Just to prove I didn't just port my HUD to Dead Air. :D Also holy shit my GUI looks awesome in Colder Atmosphere! :O

Installation:
I've decided not to post uninstallation instructions because this thing is huge. Just reinstall Call of the Zone.
Updated screenshots. My system isn't great, so these are the best screenshots I can muster. If someone with a "baller rig" (as I do believe the kids call it) could post some ridiculously lush reshaded screenshots I'd appreciate it.
I don't want to talk about it.
We don't ask what the lid is for.
Hard at work or hardly working? Ha ha haaaa I'll just let myself out.
Hm. Smell that zone air. Hardly smells like death at all!
This series of pictures proudly brought to you by the color brown.
The bloom on the sun is a little much.
When you see it ...
Yeaaaaah. It's not without its flaws.
But if you enjoy trees, this addon has you covered.
Just look how wonderfully shitty this looks! Let me tell you, it sounds just as shitty.
Just a friendly reminder that nothing terrible ever happened at Army Warehouses and nothing ever will.
I'm not even wearing a face mask. HAH.
CoP/CS Atmosphere addon works pretty well, too. Shame the sky is so low-res, though. I like that fuzzy dreamy effect the low vision distance has.
I love this guy. He looks so brooding and sinister stood there in his little nook. I just expect him to whisper "I'm Batman." at any moment.
The Preview Pic below is a slight jab at Dead Air for being, well, dead. I know, it's subtle. But now at least its rather tightly designed levels can live on in Call of the Zone.
P.S.
That's two sets of levels taken from entirely different mods built for custom engines that, so far, appear to work flawlessly in Call of the Zone. This is because Doctor X has built his game, the core mechanics, almost entirely abstracted from the level code underneath. This achievement warrants, at the very least, a golf clap and a whispered "Nice."

I'll check it out a bit later and put some screenshots up temporarily for you or maybe message you them. I don't have the best rig but I think my ReShade will make any Stalker mod look better.
Edit: Also I thought think Project Dead Air is well, dead. If I remember correctly they released a video or two on their Patron page about a month ago.
Also, anyone else notice how it's always conveniently raining whenever you want to take a screenshot in CoTZ.
I would like to see some in game screenshots please.
About your problem with Kruglov (the mechanic in CotZ) locked in the side bunkers in Yantar, i think i found a solution :
Edit the file
gamedata\configs\misc\squad_descr_yantar.ltx
(the CotZ default one on pastebin : Pastebin.com )
And in the the entry "[yan_ecolog_kruglov_squad]"
change the line
target_smart = yan_smart_terrain_6_6
into
target_smart = yan_smart_terrain_6_4
From my tests after this change, Kruglov is now roaming around the bunker (well outside its walls sometime). Try with other target_smart to see if there's a better one
Thanks Sanctuary, this solves the same problem I have in the Anomaly maps as well.
What have we learned today, kids? When life gets tough, seek sanctuary.
Also, Kruglov is armed and immortal. He can hold his own. I don't mind having to look for him, though it annoys me that he doesn't always wear the same color suit.
Dead Air was my second fave Stalker Mod after Anomaly, before COTZ came out.
It would be wonderful if it can live on somehow.
looks like there have been some bug updates to the original DeadAir mod
